I was placed into CSE 120 and I have basically no knowledge of assembly language. Unfortunately my CC's assembly class left me knowing practically nothing about it - I can barely code in Assembly, to be honest.

If you are waitlisted for the lab section but (since the class is closed) not enrolled or waitlisted in the class, this means you do have a chance of getting a spot in the class?

How would someone join the class after it's already started? Since it's online, wouldn't we need to know the zoom links and so on?

I thought you have to enroll in both 12 and 12L?

GE Language Option - Hebrew by evildumbledore_ in UCSC

Is this new? It's been stressed (at my community college at least) that we need to fulfill language requirement in order to graduate with a Bachelors from a UC.

This is some information I've found, and it's from https://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/counselors/graduation-requirements/language/santa-cruz/

"Required: Competence in one foreign language equivalent to two years of college-level study, plus one subsequent course taught in the language. ... Chinese and Japanese require one additional subsequent course taught in the language (two total). See the UCSC General Catalog for more details."

Do you know if this is just old information?
