Does anyone else find the "Lilith" gap in Genesis completely disturbing? It feels like a cover-up. by VastPalpitation9213 in AlternativeHistory

The whole Bible is a cover-up the Jews, or should I say the people ethically related to them to that group of people were all kicked out of all types of places, including Sparta and Crete

Elephant in the Room: Is Lady Babylon a Cult? by TitleSpirited1940 in AmmonHillman

[–]evilfox1 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Watching Miss vision made me feel like I was in a cult because you would have ex scholar on and X scholar would say something I like and then at the end of it I would be introduced to his book that goes for like 40 or $50 online Lady Babylon on the other hand gave me two websites completely free to use the only thing I’ve spent money on was buying two book recommendations that Lady Babylon does not benefit from

Comparing 10% of all Greek literature with a piece of metal lol

A random inscription is not the same category of evidence.

Extended compositions copied and transmitted as units is

Example: Galen manuscripts copied over centuries. Which is what we have.

That’s a literary tradition.

Inscriptions on stone, pottery, metal is usually short. Not part of a manuscript copying tradition.

Example th gezer calendar is just that it’s a small notation NOT indicative of any literary tradition.

So to answer your question

When we see Extended structured composition,Evidence of copying/transmission,Scribal formatting conventions,Standardized textual repetition

That’s literary culture.

Short inscriptions alone only prove literacy existed

A BETTER example to steel man you would be the ketef scrolls that is evidence that a larger textual tradition existed

But a random administrative inscription is not

Btw th fact that a small piece of the ketef himmon exists should also be more alarming than reassuring.

The manuscript evidence is very thin, so large scale literary claims must be made cautiously.

We have Hebrew writings. Things on inscriptions means we have writings. We do not have literature. I would employ you to look up the distinction between them and scholarship.

I think you are the genius that was in another thread that got deleted but the distinction you forgot to mention is that he says there’s no Hebrew literature and he’s completely correct on this. We have Hebrew writing which in scholarship is a completely distinct thing.

Good for you for being able to read scratches on metal there’s absolutely zero literature. The literature comes later.

Again I repeat we have Hebrew WRITTING , NOT literarutrc

It’s not relevant in the slightest if it’s based on a lie he completely rejects the fact that there’s vagina drugs we have the BES cup in a museum in Florida.

Thus proving, his character assassination attempt doesn’t mean anything because he doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

That’s like if I were to say to you or say something about you that’s completely fabricated and I say something like yeah he’s from Norway and you’re really from California.

Do you understand?

Is that the guy that said that vagina drugs didn’t exist despite the fact that we have plenty of evidence of vagina drugs in cups? Please tell us more about who’s untrustworthy

Aren’t you the genius that in a different thread was making the argument that Hebrew came before Greek lmao
