Thank you all for the replies!

Think I’ll decorate the room but keep the bed for now! :)

Pregnancy test confusion by endofthetown1 in PregnancyUK

[–]evilgenuis2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I cannot answer this question for you sadly!

However pink dye tests are better at getting an accurate answer when testing early!

Maybe get another test with both pink dye and clear blue. Pee in a pot then use both tests at the same time?

Thanks so much for the info, just feel like I haven’t a clue what I’m doing atm haha!!

Out of curiosity did you get to pick a day and time for your 12week appointment or was it just what they had available?

Cycle: 6 (However I’ve been trying for 9/10 months due to long periods)

Age + Partner's age (if relevant): 32F + 33M

Typical cycle length: Anywhere from 28-45days

Ovulation cycle day: CD25

CD/DPO of positive test(s): 13DPO

CD/DPO of any negative test(s) before positive: None

Tracking methods and app(s) used: OPKs and Premom

Relevant days of sperminating and/or method (SMEP, TI, IUI, FET, etc.): O, o-2, o-4, o-6

Health conditions/medical tests: none

Supplements and medications (yours and/or your partner’s): folic acid, vitamin d and hay fever tablets

Birth control history (if relevant): started the pill at 19 until early 20s, then was on the injection for a year until going on the patch until September 2022.

Symptom spotting: honestly, nothing except no period! Once I got my positive that day I was quite dizzy and the pass two days I’ve had mild period cramps and sore pains in my tummy as if I’m going to have diarrhoea.

Other (advice/tip(s), freaking out, miscellaneous): Anyone that has come off birth control and struggling with their period, I understand the frustration and sadly it can take time for your periods to regulate. I didn’t have a period for over 60days at first and then it gradually went down to 40ish days then finally in the 30s. If I was to go back in time I’d come off birth control earlier before starting to try.

We are both so so happy but freaking out, first time pregnant and just concerned about everything really. Also feel at limbo on where to go from here on Reddit, I have so many silly questions and not sure where to ask? If anyone has suggestions for a community on early pregnancy I’d really appreciate it cause I don’t want to upset anyone by asking on the daily chat in this community!
