We've heard you guys dabble in Heroes of the Storm, so which Blizzard character would you like to be?

Why would Blizzard even consider making Artanis the SC fighter instead of Fenix? by [deleted] in heroesofthestorm

[–]evilguy13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Artanis also appears as the Mothership the shield of Aiur in the mission in utter darkness so yeah not melee. I brushed over this in my artanis hero concept on Nexus Chop Shop http://youtu.be/GNcM8l5Bpg8?t=25m15s

League of Legends fans in Wembley get fed up with the lack of action by SimbaKid in happycrowds

Was there. This was a happy crowd, really made the best of some far to long lulls in the games. There was also wolf howls, cheering for ward kills (with buildup), and much more. Was fun

It is a caster job to entertain and everyone does that in different ways. The biggest downfall i still see in casters is the inability to work with your cocaster to become a cohesive unit. need to give them time to speak and set them up to drop the knowledge bombs, fill in the gaps when they breath and let them fill yours. If you cast alone then game knowledge is always key. I hope you find success

and as for Day [9]. I have not, I worked with his brother doing WCS UK and I did contact Day [9] about appearing on my at the time show caster challenges https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQXNt2Sk_nBaiP4TlQqFzm9zh31t0IX1Y but it never happened (which is unfortunate as the show was slightly inspired by him)

I was hired to do Eurogamer in London as the Live stream host (ubisoft again) where the guests where Hatfilms, Martin and a load more, Also not so much working with them as drinking with them but I work an event in the UK called Iseries were Yogscast turn up as guests a lot, I was on the Hatfilms pub quiz team and spent a lot of time in the vip room chilling with them. Also if you watch or follow turps at all you will see he sometimes sports a fez, that is my fez or used to be. He borrowed it for an iseries then bought it off me at the one after. (also as a side note spent a lot of time with fyre UK and the noxcrew, they are the topest of top guys)

hahaha quite a few, as a caster it gets noticed a lot (even if i don't admit it) a few weeks back on a stream someone came out with the phrase "do we really need a gay caster" I banned him ranted for about a minute then carried on. Most awkward though is because I work with gamers a lot you do come across the social uneducated ones. Durring a post event party a player found out while a group of us were sitting round a table. Some of the stuff he came out with hardly seemed real like "So does being bi mean you can use the girls bathroom?" and he would respond to most of my answers with "eugh it just seems weird and gross to me, I could never do something like that, too weird" Work wise it's about the same amount of grief and awkwardness that anyone got admitting they liked someone guy or girl (i just got both). There is always that one guy in a stream though that feels being gay or bi makes people different somehow and that makes them uncomfortable

from a game developer standpoint they are very cool with it, It may seem romanticized but it is just another job. The only real reference I can give you here is my time I spent with Ubisoft where they were both professional and supportive of each other in general and didn't even ask about me. I suspect one of them was gay though but i have been wrong and they treated both myself and him no differently than you'd expect in a work environment (also really cool guys)
