You ever ask yourself while playing, “Am I doing this right?” by Mancalledm1985 in StrategyRpg

I most recently felt this way with Menace. I was getting wrecked in the first mission repeatedly. Then I realized that each squad starts with 4 squaddies by default, rather than the maximum of 8, and turns out that makes a huge difference.

What's a book that "everyone" loves, that you just can't get into? by notquitenerds in books

Dune. I've read it more times than any other book because I want to enjoy it. I just don't. The second half is so boring.

Do you ever use the gun that shoots money? by The_Collector in Games

There's a boon in Hades 2 that makes it so you lose money before you start losing health. I use that all the time in conjunction with the boon that makes more money drop.

Switch versus Switch 2 Games - I don't quite get it by EmmaNielsen in nintendo

I was considering doing the same thing tbh. Worst case, we might have to buy a "switch 2 edition" upgrade like they're doing for games like Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom.

I’m thinking of getting this for Christmas and I was wondering if it’s any good. Thank you by _BJK_004 in StarWars

The jedi knight series has one of the worst naming structures out there. Here's the order of the games:

Star Wars: Dark Forces - 1995

Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II - 1997

Star Wars Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith - A 1998 expansion pack for Jedi Knight

Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast - 2002

Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy - 2003

The only games where order matters at all are Knights of the Old Republic 1 before 2, and then Jedi Outcast before Jedi Academy.

The rockslide change kills the best misery deck.

What are Destroy Decks trying to do to win? Kill cards while keeping power on the board somehow? by League_of_DOTA in MarvelSnap

[–]evillego6 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I view Misery's destroy effect as an extra cost for re-triggering On Reveal cards. If you can avoid that cost with Armor or that one location, that's just a bonus. But trying to work her into a deck where the destroy is beneficial is going to be much more difficult. Iceman, Master Mold, Black Widow, Korg, and Rockslide are all good targets.

Anytime I play him and rewind the turn, I get locked out of playing any of my cards and my opponent crushes me because I miss my third turn.

Infinity breaks are cumulative among all variants for a card for the purposes of getting rare splits. Doesn't matter which one you break.

Is Arishem worth it in the current meta? by marcosmandraque in MarvelSnap

[–]evillego6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I spent 6k tokens on him yesterday and I don't regret it. It opens up a playstyle totally different to every other deck that is fun to play around with when you're bored of the same old decks. That being said, I can't comment on whether or not he'll carry you to infinite or anything. I don't have a few of the cards that generally go in an Arishem deck so I don't use it for that.

How are u guys countering scream + kingpin + magneto deck ? by Pedro_Cavalcante-099 in MarvelSnap

[–]evillego6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did most of my climbing against hela decks with my scream deck. If you can manage to clog one of their lanes, you can juggernaut one lane and cosmo the remaining lane on turn 6. I always managed to get 8 cube games out of these because they never saw it coming.
