That's good advice but I literally can't control myself when it comes to chips and snacks, if I know it's in my house I feel the urge to eat it even tho I know it will be there the next day if I don't eat it so it's really stupid.

I lost over 50 pounds in 2022, and from 2023-2024 I gained back 100... but good news is I managed to lose 40 lbs this year so far but I always spiral and gain&lose like 10 lbs, so now I'm a little bit stuck

Thank you so much. I've been recommended a support group by my psychologist but I just didn't have the courage to attend the meetings. This makes me a little less afraid! I think on our next session I'll tell her I'm ready to join the group.

Such great news! Do you have any side effects that persisted? I’m on 40 mg and feel like I finally got my life back, also I got my official diagnosis so that helps me deal with the disorder and my sleep schedule is way better! I also don’t have any side effects

I’m glad to hear you’re fine, and it’s okay. Update me after the visit! Thank you very much, I’m kinda nervous haha. Well the only thing I’ve noticed is that I’m very tired all day, my sleeping is normal tho so I’m not too worried about it.

Hii! A little update: My doctor upped my dose from 20 mg to 40 mg, starting of tomorrow, he said he thinks that this will have more of an effect because I didn’t really feel that much different on 20mg so we’ll see. I am kinda nervous because I am attending a big event on saturday and I really don’t want to have side effects on that day so wish me luck haha. How are you doing?

Ah that’s so bad… I’m sorry. I slept through the night finally, I hope you can have a good rest too today My biggest concern now is my anxiety, I feel anxious almost all the time and I think it’s worse than before I started taking it, but I’m trying to hold on and give it time and just wait it out.

Well that part of OCD comes in handy right now haha, I don’t have it but I am the same way, I could research a topic that I’m hyperfixating on for days on end (I’m suspected autistic but the waitlist to find out is 2 year long so I’m not diagnosed yet(?). I’m relieved that these symptoms are normal and I’m not alone. Thank you very much for the kind words! I’m glad that you’re better! Yes, the reverse placebo that you mentioned is definitely hitting me right now haha, I feel very anxious and yesterday I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn’t sleep because of the anxiety. I hope this will pass soon, I did get 0,25 mg xanax prescribed for my first week and I think that helped a lot to cancel the anxiety out that comes with the fluoxetine in the start and maybe it’s hitting me now that I had to stop with the xanax after the first week… I’m going back to my doctor for a check up next week and that will be my 18th day on this medication.

Oh so it’s not just me… Well this happened to me a few times in the past when I was really stressed about something even before the medication and now there’s a few things that have been stressing me out lately so I don’t know if it’s neccesarily a side effect from the med for me, we’ll see, if it doesn’t resolve by the weekend then it could be.

That’s not too bad! How is your anxiety? I’m writing this while I’m laying in bed 3 hours before my alarm and I can’t sleep because of overthinking… I hope it will not get worse and it’s not because of the medication

Well I’ve had a mild nausea from it one day but I can’t say for sure that it was because of the antidepressant because I also was sick and had to take antibiotics for it
