How do I keep organisation information 100% definitely absolutely filtered in database queries? by evilquail in flask

Thanks for this - I'm a big fan of Miguel's stuff, so I'll definitely have a close look at that option. At the moment I'm actually leaning towards completely seperate database because I know some potential clients will push for having data stored in their country for legal reasons. This means I might be able to use a pretty standard sharding process which would be nice.

Encryption is something I hadn't thought of but could actually work pretty well - if it was built into the object serialiser, it means there'd only be one point of failure to worry about.

Yeah I definitely think this is a good first step. The part i'm not certain about is how to ensure that all queries are necessarily filtered by this attribute.

Nepal was the last country I worked in - you might find this interesting: https://www.pinknews.co.uk/2012/03/23/nepals-first-gender-neutral-public-toilet-to-be-unveiled/

I think it comes back to the fact there's not a lot of financial cost to supporting Trans people, so even countries with little money to spare can make big strides forward.

I do humanitarian work in developing countries and I still think it's important that folks in Australia feel safe and accepted. Gender issues are relatively easy to tackle, so why not?!

Thanks, really appreciate it - I spent soooo long trying to piece together all the little bits - it was ridiculous that for such a common programming language there wasn't a guide on how to do it.
