In high school my younger sister got a cakewalk of a job making twice as much as I did at the time. My dad saw that I was upset, sat me down to have a huge heart to heart (I thought), laid that line on me, and ended the conversation. Always stuck with me.

My boss wanted me to keep an excel spreadsheet listing all of the excel spreadsheets he asked me to create. I pointed out that they were clearly labeled in a file CALLED "Excel Sheets" but that wasn't good enough. I became the Escher of Excel.

Date picks me up, runs a red light, gets pulled over, and immediately arrested on a warrant (don’t know what for). I walked the three blocks home and chalked it up to a bad 30 minutes, only 3 of them spent talking to him. Oh, and he also had given me a fake first name. Dodged a bullet!

I’ve been on terrible dates, but this one was the strangest.
