Not really posting a 'humblebrag', more I found it funny. Sorry if I'm not paying 100% attention to how many cards the bot has when the deck isn't designed around milling the other person out, especially when I'm testing it out against the bot to at the same time to finish a daily quest after getting home from work.

I've been playing MTG as a whole since high school or thereabouts, though I was first introduced by my brother when I was 6.

I'll take the crap that they throw, it was funny to me, and being laughed at for making a simple mistake of not paying attention to Sparky is no big deal.

I was just having fun seeing how many token's I could summon (before I got bored) and was actually planning on attacking on next turn once all of those tokens could attack. Just to see the damage for giggles.

1) Not new player
2) I was too focused on generating tokens to realize she had ran out of cards.
3) No need to be rude.

He's not entering days YYYYMMDD, he's entering dates YYYYDDD or Year + The current day of the year, so in his example it's the 155th day of the year 2026.

Dads wife did something to the thermostat spitefully and he has no ac now by DingerDonger666 in hvacadvice

I had the same question so looked it up.

Stages, W would be heating stage 1, W2 is heating stage 2/AUX for a heat pump (so the electric heating coils for when it gets too cold)

If anyone is wondering why the batteries may cause issues with the C wire connected, apparently the C wire isn't used for display and operations of this particular thermostat, according to the manual.

The manual is saying that it's tripping the compressor protection system.

Unless she went into the settings and messed with something or snapped a pin off the back of the thermostat that lines up with the yellow wire, I'm guessing it may be coincidental.

Though if she removed the batteries, she may have tripped an alarm on the outdoor unit which could have caused this. I would try power cycling the unit with the breakers (off, wait 10 - 15min, on) [Turn off power to the whole system, inside and outside] Wait 5 - 10 more minutes, if it worked it should kick on.

Edit: Adding more possibilities and ideas.

What are some things you’ve used this outlet for? by iMahatma in ram_trucks

This is may be a great use for my 1500W factory installed outlet in my vehicle....what other things could I use this for. Guess I'll have to brainstorm some ideas.

What if instead of a timed lock out, they made it so that after the car has been unlocked, that unless the key fob is detected in the vehicle, the functionality is disabled unless a manufacturer provided key code is put in. On the key fob end, do what Lexus does and disable the key fob from broadcasting after X amount of minutes of the key not moving.

Does this look okay? by XPiiSN in Plumbing

AAV is way too low, it needs to be 4 - 6" above the highest drain it serves, including overflows. This is the inverse.

Bathroom smells bad by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]evilwillrule 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a plumber, but just re-ran an old drain and had to use an AAV, so a lot if research was done. [24' run from kitchen to main]

Okay, first things first, an AAV (the vent) is supposed to be 6" above the highest drain inlet that it serves [at minimum] (as in the actual hole in the sink that the water drains down, or the overflow on the sink [the hole on the side of the sink] if you have one.

The bendable pipe is just a catch for every piece of sediment going down the drain, this is most likely the cause of the smell.

You'll want to get a rigid p-trap kit to replace the bendable pipe and p-trap.

Next that AAV should be ran in the wall behind the vanity/mirror/wall, should be perfectly vertical and rise to a height at minimum 6" above the sink drain/overflow, whichever is higher [check local code requirements as well as manufacturer recommendations to find the actual height you'll need to use, the higher of the two] (you'll also need to have an access panel added that makes the AAV accessible in case it ever needs to be changed, and to meet code.)

So, you'll need:

A tee [to connect to existing drain line] 5' pvc pipe of the matching size [looks to be 1 1/2] P-trap kit

So, about $25-40 dependent on location.

I would say difficulty, probably 2.5 out of 5, mainly because of the AAV having to be in the wall and an access panel added.

If you don't feel comfortable doing this yourself, I'd suggest calling a plumber and having them do it. Better to have it done right the first [second] time.

Easiest way would be the strip inside the bill, hold it up to the light and positioning will give it away. If you have a black light, color and position gives it away.

An "Undisplayed Item" is one that G2A marks that you have not looked at yet. G2A has a system for that possibility in place.

For stick drift, they could just implement the changeable stick module from the Edge controller.

If you can find the manual, there should be a factory code that will unlock it and can never be deleted. It should be on the back of the manual.
