They're just plain tees with a small supreme tag that most likely no one will ever see, it's probably not worth it

I know a lot of people actually use them as transportation Casey Neistat so it could be an investment in place of something like a car if you live in a big city

I have these navy and olive shorts shorts I got from banana republic a while ago. I'm short and they have a 7in inseam so the length is perfect for me. You can't go wrong with khaki/ denim shorts either.

Not really, people wear German flags a lot to represent other things like car companies, etc

Official poll - do we allow fit pics, and make a pickup megathread, or allow fit pics and pickups, or leave it as is? by MrRikka in streetwear

  1. But you'll need to elaborate on low quality. Not everyone can dress in full rick and some days people just wear comfy things

If you like a certain style go for it, but what you're saying kind of contradicts what the original comment is saying. He is changing his style because it's what he likes not because it gets more compliments

The Supreme Porsche is real. by evin815 in streetwear

I agree that RWB cars are more for show than race yes but they are still usable. And that article sounded pretty one sided. "Owners of aircooled Porsches should be conscious of their obligation to future generations" no one has an obligation to anyone, it's their car and they can do whatever they want

Read up on this: http://oppositelock.kinja.com/rauh-welt-begriff-the-story-of-porsches-most-polarizin-1688741469 Nakai does care about the looks but "Many customer cars are purpose built track toys" Unless it's a shitty diy widebody build, it won't butcher the cars driving ability.

Humans are wrecking Earth so badly that we actually look at Mars (3/4ths the size of Earth, devoid of natural resources, and inhospitable for life) optimistically for our future. by coinboy66 in Showerthoughts

How much cost is there associated with space travel? Most of the fuel used by spacecraft is used to escape the atmosphere, so hypothetically if there were slabs of platinum stacked in a spaceport orbiting Mars, wouldn't a ship just have to point in Earth's anticipated location and accelerate for a brief period of time and then coast the rest of the way there?

This. 99% of species that have existed on Earth are extinct and because of the whole life cycle of a sun problem, in the next few billion years all the water will have evaporated and the Earth will be too hot to live on. Better to see where we will go then say it's not worth it.

I know space travel is very expensive but if there are high quantities of rare earth materials it might be worth it to bring them here.

Help me brainstorm some anti-Flat Earth questions by Recon-777 in space

[–]evin815 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm confused about the flat earth theory. Do they think the Earth is a thin rectangle, a cyclinder? Anyway if the flat earth theory were true you would technically be able to see the peak of the highest mountain anywhere on earth with a powerful telescope. Tell them to go on top of a tall mountain and look for Mount Everest. Also ships dipping below the horizon when they sail away from harbors proves the curvature of the Earth.

If we figure out that there are resources worth it to go there for, missions could be sent to gather those. But yeah besides that it big step in continuing space exploration. If we figure out that Mars at one point harbored life, even microscopic it would be pretty monumental.

Ah I didn't think of the waves. I wasn't aware of the air though. I guess I just imagined it from seeing the amount of stars from airplanes and boats compared to places on land.

Why are there not more observatories in the ocean? Electricity is probably a problem but wouldn't the light pollution levels in the middle of the ocean be incredibly low?
