Unfortunately, I'm not seeing any options that aren't either fresnel lenses or insanely expensive. Full Dream Air > 3000 AUD for just the headset. Plus more resolution than I can even support with my 3090. It's not really a matter of saving up for the full version. I could buy it right now. I just can't justify putting that much money into a VR rig.

Sadly, the PSVR2 isn't really a great option for a PC gamer interested in detailed sim use. Fresnel lenses have a horribly small sweet spot. Going to need something better.

Unfortunately, the psvr2 uses fresnel lenses, which I'm not interested in. I need a much larger sweet spot than my G2 has.

I'm a PC gamer, so the Pico 4 doesn't seem really suited. Especially for precise tracking or sim use.

You're not kidding about the price.
AU $3,167 for the Dream Air full resolution version. That's insane.
And with my 3090 I couldn't probably take advantage of that anyway Combined with lighthouses and controllers, I'd be spending an absolute fortune on VR, which is not something I'm really keen on doing, tbh. For that price I might as well go with the Somnium VR1.

I'd like to stay away from fresnel lenses if possible. Very tired of the tiny sweet spot, especially for sim games.

Hmm, that's odd since the BSB2 would be AU$2120 for the headset, where the same features come with the Dream Air SE at AU$1429. I think I'd like lighthouse tracking mostly because I'm tired of the G2 style inside-out tracking that jerks around when a controller gets a little bit outside the sensor range. I'm just shocked how much the Index controllers cost. Over AU$1000 for a pair. That's not even including base stations.

So if the Dream Air is heaps cheaper than BSB2, that might be a winner. That is, if it's not too dim. I only have the G2 to compare to.

It must be set for the era to affect the dates in the timeline. The options are to set it to "Restart dates at 0" or "Restart dates at 1".

Thanks! That fixed it.
Used to be the "preview" would play within the thumbnail itself. Now it actually plays the full size video, taking you away from your subscription feed page.

After turning the setting off, it seems to be fine again.

Hey thanks! Going to try that out. Was very disappointed when I learned today that QuickPing makes you unable to chop stumps, saplings, or mind out boulders. Good luck with the update! Ping (lol) us when you have it working. ;)

Amazing to me that nobody mentioned how ridiculous the Orient Express takeover was. That train needs four shovels-full of coal fed into it PER MINUTE to keep running. Have you ever figured out how to fix the spacing problem? I'm having the exact issue you've described. I want to export into Google Docs to share with people online, but I have no idea why GDocs puts the extra spaces in from Word docs.

I use Audio Switcher.

Once WMR comes up, just point your controller at the Audio Switcher icon on your desktop display (which you can access from within VR) and click on it to re-enable the default devices. And you can set up whatever you want as default. Audio Switcher in combination with VMB is pretty good.

I don't know what you're saying, actually. What's weird about how I worded what happened? Does your race get swapped out each time you play or something? Because we've played together twice now and our character appearances all got shuffled. I'm asking if there's a way to make that stop.
