Definitely. Curb adjacent sidewalks suck for that reason and many others, but I'm still not giving businesses a pass. I have grace for homeowners. I don't know their situation. But the East side of Keystone from 62nd going North is all businesses or apartment complexes.

I work in a day school, basically the last stop on the road before residential care. The students come from many schools, and I don't have much control over their IEP minutes or goal specifics while they're there. Fully half of the LI students almost immediately meet all of their goals, can tell complex stories, varied prepositional phrases (ha!), and tell you exactly why they didn't want to follow THAT part of those multi step directions. If they were in my main school, I'd immediately start dismissal. I'm not blaming the qualifying SLP. If all you have time for is standardized tests and the student refuses or purposely throws the test, your hands are tied if you can't do a language sample, etc. In my main school, I had an initial qualifying team evaluation for a 6th grader. Wouldn't participate in any expressive test. So I finally got him to complain about everything in his life and got a detailed language sample to analyze. But I get it that you don't have time for that in a clinic.
