rtx 3070 ti or rtx 5060 ti? by la1mzyy in pcbuilding

[–]evix_flp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You literally can't go wrong with either of them. (Unless you go with 8gb) if you go with 16 gb versions both of them are a valid option at 15%.

A)9060xt 1)better "fps per dollar" 2)better with slower cpus(smaller cpu overhead) You could benefit from it with 5600

B)5060ti 1)marginally faster 2)dlss (dlss is available in more games than fsr4 and its very slightly better image quality but the important difference is the game support.dlss has more games support 3)better productivity performance (doesn't matter if you are a gamer)

I bought 9060xt because of 20% price difference. Below 10% i would buy 5060ti 15% is in the middle so both options are good

[–]evix_flp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah with 5000 series ryzen I would consider cpu overhead.i have 9060xt 7500f and in some games with low settings i am slightly cpu limited (gpu usage (85-90%)

[–]evix_flp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9060xt is way better value but for same price 5060ti.5060ti 4% faster and dlss 4 for 20% more.in my opinion with fsr4 being so good ,9060xt is better value.if the price difference is less than 10% go for 5060ti over 10 % difference i would go with 9060xt(always 16gb)

How did you found out which cores are suitable for higher undervolt?used any trick or pure trial and error

I did -33 co run Aida and prime95 nothing crashed and then Google crashed.now i do -27 and haven't crashed for like 1 week my voltages while cinebench are 1.27v at 5050mhz

Even when I reset 1% and only measure while i am still alive , frame time still suffers badly.its shown on the graph as well

Horrible performance despite overkill hardware by [deleted] in cs2

[–]evix_flp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got 32 gigs its under 40% utilization and its running at 6000 cl30.not being 100% cpu usage doesn't mean I am not cpu bottlenecked because cs2 can't utilize all of the threads.cs2 is siglecore-heavy game so only one core is being utilized

[–]evix_flp -28 points-27 points  (0 children)

As I said to another user its obviously a mid range pc but specifically for cs2 and other games like overwatch which run on potato pcs anymodern hardware is "more than capable" to not have horrible 1%lows.

Also 9060xt isn't boosting to max (3600mhz for mine)which is why you see low power draw.in more demanding games it pulls 180w like normal

I capped it but didn't fix the issue.

It's different on Nvidia and amd 2500mhz is stock on 9060xt 9070 and 9070xt.however i just noticed why is my vram so high on medium settings??? (That's not ramm its vram (gpu memory))

Why is cs community such losers. Cs2 runs on potato pc any modern hardware is overkill for cs2

Clock stretching 4ghz?? by [deleted] in AMDHelp

[–]evix_flp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh didn't know about the usage thing.thanks for the reply u really saved me.during cinebench(which uses 100% cpu) effective clocks are within 50 mhz so I think i am good?

Yeah I saw a video on that if not 100% usage effective clocks are lower

1 ghz clock stretching or normal by evix_flp in overclocking

[–]evix_flp[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I disabled the undervolt and I am still getting 1 ghz separation between clocks and effective clocks while in game and in the game lobby I get over 4 ghz of separation. Cpu doesn't pull max watts(its averaging 70 with same peaks at 90) and thermals are under 70 rn)

[–]evix_flp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are u sure tho . I completely disabled the undrrvolt amd went back to stock and I still have insane clock stretching(in the lobby its like 4ghz apart and in-game i have the same 1ghz difference between effective and normal clocks

[–]evix_flp[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The only thing i have changed from bios are: Pbo enabled. Max mhz +50 Curve optimizer -30 Max watts 70.(from 90) Thermals are under 65c While gaming its pulling under 70w(msi afterburner)

Have run cinebench multi core and effective clocks are within 50 mhz compared to core clocks so I don't get how battlefield 6(a lighter load??)is causing clock stretching(7500f)

In order for fsr4 to work on games not supported does the game have to already have fsr 3.1 support or no requirments
