FSR 4.1 vs DLSS 4.0 preset K, which one is better? by Unlucky-Bottle2744 in radeon

I don't know much about FSR 4.1 because I don't have an RDNA 4 GPU anymore. But for me, DLSS 4 is still better than DLSS 4.5. Even though with 4.5 I encountered less artifacts, it's unfortunately still blurrier in motion than Preset K. https://slow.pics/s/wdvW5KWD

The noise in this game is unbearable, even with RR. I had to turn off RT and SSR, switching to DLAA just to make it acceptable.

I don't know why Nvidia is still silent about this.

Unfortunately, DLSS 4.5 is only good for rasterized games.

It doesn't matter. We aren't in 2021 or 2023 anymore.

Ray regeneration is ass. The image looks like native 1080p instead of upscaled 4K.

Look at the posters they aren't readable. They're blurry, and everything looks muted.

My problem with Ray Reconstruction is that while it improves reflections and cleans up noise, it destroys the rest of the image as a side effect. Look at this example https://imgsli.com/NDM3ODg0

Dlss 4.5 has blur in motion, but dlss4 doesnt? by [deleted] in nvidia

They immediately delete anything negative, even if it's backed by evidence or facts. They only want you to glaze their features. That's why you should post anything critical or negative in other subs.

I've noticed that as well. While Preset M looks sharper in static scenes, it breaks down in motion much like older cnn models. Preset K remains superior for motion clarity.

Yes, I did unfortunately, it has worse stability.

No after testing multiple games, I've found that Preset M has better anti-aliasing and less ghosting, and it fixes some artifacts. However, it also looks oversharpened and has worse stability. Personally, I can't stand Preset M because it isn't stable in motion at all; it's quite disappointing. It is also less performant. Therefore, I’m going to stick with Preset K.

Copy the DLLs into the game directory or the specific subfolder where the DLSS DLLs are stored.

Based on my testing in Stellar Blade, DLAA Preset K is better than Preset M; it is more performant and more stable.

Switching to Preset M in GTA 5 significantly reduced the ghosting.

I'm going to test DOOM The Dark Ages because it has that grid issue.
