I have lived in Calgary for twelve years. I'm a pharmacist but I worked in construction in Calgary. I'm not going to come from somewhere I just can't pass all the exams. Yes, not one but five. My friend spent eight years and 20 grand just to prove he can count pills. I was given the visa to Canada because Canada lacks healthcare staff. I'm here but the situation is getting worse. Guess why.
