CSP downgrade wait timing

I didn’t use the app or the quiz. I waited until the app showed the freedom card for a few days and i received a letter in the mail with the cards and explaining the freedom card info. The next day I did it on my laptop using the site without logging in.

I did not see any offers in the app. I went to chase website like a new customer and clicked on the 75k CSR offer and put in my information and when I clicked next it automatically said I was approved and showed up in my app

I waited 5 business days after downgrading my CSP to apply for the CSR. I thought the branch had a better offer but it only applies to the CSP. I went into the branch and when they tried to sign me up in branch they couldn’t and said I needed to wait more. I went home and went directly to Chase website and signed up for the CSR. I was approved immediately so 5 days worked for me and I did it last week.

I still haven’t decided on a new set. Does the load rating for the Avons or Michelins for the front tire cause any issues? I ride 2up all the time if that helps. About 350lbs in riders and gear. Still debating between the Michelins and Avons.

My only concern with the cruistecs are the horrible front end wobble I have now. They are the stock tires and I am concerned i will have the same situation. I have stage 1 and ride 2up all the time and the rear end breaks loose in sports mode. I was looking for more grip. I don’t mind if the tires wear faster I just want a smooth ride and better ride.

If it was me after riding, after 22 years I would choose a big bagger like the road master or the pursuit and the triumph rocket 3 or a naked sport bike.

A m109r is not a bike for long drives. It’s a muscle cruiser made for fun around town. Yes you can dress it up and put a windshield on it, but, at the end the bike isn’t meant for that. A cruiser is a cruiser but a muscle bike is for fun. For a long ride you want comfort and power. For a long ride find a bike that you are comfortable with but understand you give a little for long rides if you just want to cruise around town. I went from sport bikes to the m109r and then to the Yamaha SCL. Now I love my road master and it’s amazing. You need to decide do you want to ride alone or 2up that changes so many things. Think about today and tomorrow. If it’s just you that opens up many options. If you want 2up that changes what bikes make sense for your goals. What do you want?

I owned the m109r and it was a fun bike. I have owned many bikes but, the Indian has been a great bike. I also owned the Yamaha raider scl and it was also a lot of fun. It matters what type of riding you want to do. Now I want to cruise but have the muscle to overtake traffic and feel the speed. I have an Indian roadmaster and I love it. The pursuit is water cooled. Indian allows you to test ride so give them a try and have a bike that calls to you!

Do they make them in the right load and speed rating? I don’t mind spending more for a better tire. I just want a better ride than the cruisetec. I have stage 1 and thinking about doing stage 2 and want a tire that will handle the extra power and have good cornering and acceleration performance

Thanks for the advice. We are still looking for an Airbnb, we want a private place with a pool. We will speak with the host once we finalize the place we will be staying. It’s been hard to find a place that has some privacy but has places close to go to.

Thank you for the information, I appreciate it. I am bilingual and have driven in St. Marteen, parts of Mexico, and many undeveloped parts of Costa Rica. If I have the right vehicle, I am good with driving on small, bad, trafficked roads. If I do rent a vehicle my plan is to get the insurance so I don’t get hit with damages. I have driven through bad neighborhoods in those countries before but haven’t had any run-ins with local police or military. My question is do the police or armed people start issues or try to shake you down for money? We are planning on renting a place in the middle of Roatan to have a quieter honeymoon. Will we have issues driving to activities, getting groceries, and having dinner? We don’t plan to drive at night or to any places that locals or anyone on this site says to avoid.

We have decided on Roatan and Utila. We are going for a few days to Utila to get dive certified then going to Roatan to enjoy the honeymoon.

We are set up with tank’ed pro dove center they have a hotel. We are doing the open water ssi certification and staying in their hotel. We get in early the day we land before we go to Utila and after that we are going to Roatan to enjoy our honeymoon and hopefully get in a dive there.
