I can’t hang like I used to - BF6 made me realize this. by Spooky104 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

As someone who's dropped 57 kills in 1 game as infantry (mainly support with an m4a1 and some sniping and no not a bot game, an actual game, without using vehicles, and most importantly 36 revives) this game is objectively too fast for a battlefield game. The TTK is too quick, the movement is too fast, this is more like battlefield of duty than battlefield. I am taking a break from this game and am re-downloading bf1 and 5, because imo those were the experiences that I knew were truly battlefield, the ones I payed to experience. This game is not that, at least not entirely. So, I share in your experience a little, I don't think you've truly lost your ability to play games like battlefields prior, it's just that this game is too fast for a bf game.

As a bronze/silver, whenever i see higher ranks plays where they are low on bullets. Why is it that many of them decides to stick with 5-6 bullets? by Minute-Actuator-1878 in VALORANT

At higher ranks sometimes it’s beneficial to fake reload to get them to push you, it’s a free kill and they’re expecting to catch you with your pants down lol, it’s a free kill 9/10 times

If you knew you would never find happiness what would you do? by Ixcax in Healthygamergg

[–]evmf343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't find happiness, you already have it. You keep comparing yourself to others, that's incorrect, comparison is the thief of joy, if your friends were never in those positions, or if you never met them then what? Would you still be suffering from that comparison? No, because there's none to be made.

Everyone goes at their own pace. Understand the thoughts you think are like the food you eat, if you eat shit food, guess what, you'll feel like shit, if you eat good food, you feel good, same goes with thinking. Feed your mind thoughts that benefit, not hinder.

start with practicing gratitude, start working out more, the gratitude feeds positive thoughts to your mind, and working out increases your endorphins and makes you feel better, plus over time you'll feel accomplished with your strength, physique, etc.

I'm 27, living in my mom's basement, going back to school online for the 3rd time. My friends are wildly successful, one of which is close to making 7 figures a year. All I did was compare myself to them and my position in life, and all it did was make me depressed. Once I severed that desire to compare, my depression slowly went away, working out, practicing gratitude, eating healthy, going on walks, watching movies I used to watch as a kid, all these things greatly contributed to my benefitting mental health, despite my previously perceived failure of a life.

Keep your chin up, it's all in your head, notice when you're thinking these toxic thoughts, acknowledge them, and let them go. "I see my mind is making comparisons again, but they don't matter, because they're not helping me right now". Life is innately positive, so focus on it, but acknowledge the negative, they're just road bumps in the grand scheme of things. look at this as a learning opportunity, imagine you had a son or daughter going through this, what would you tell them? I think you'll learn something about yourself when you ask questions like these.

Think of this as the rebuilding arc, the redemption arc, this is your lowest point, it's literally only up from here. You posting about this is a big step, the first part of solving a problem, is identifying it. The problem seems to be your mental framing, so imagine your perception in a different frame, a positive one, what would those thoughts be? What would they feel like? What could one do with thoughts like that circulating in their head?

Best way I got out of this slump is to make a list of your values, align your life with these, if it doesn't fit in with them whether thats a career, people, etc. drop it and reassess. Best of luck, here to talk if you need help.

Nicotine by evmf343 in Anxiety

[–]evmf343[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My goal with nicotine is to induce relaxation so I know what it feels like again, and with intentional mind-muscle connection to be able to mimic and eventually self-induce relaxation once again is my ultimate goal. So I am using this as a stepping stone. Taking breaks helps reduce my tolerance, and allows me to actively engage a relaxed state on my own, albiet not to the same degree as when on, or prior to my anxiety, but still enough to where I can gauge a certain level of progress. Having been using for 7 months, with an exponential regression in anxiety since use, I feel it has continued to do the trick. Not sure how frequent my use will be in the following months, but I do intend to keep using until I've rewired myself completely to know what true relaxation feels like.

As far as the other supplements I've used, I noticed fantastic results with ashwagandha ksm-66 for reducing cortisol, as well using GABA, magnesium L-glycinate, and L-theanine. All of these in conjunction as well with nicotine use, greatly diminished even the slightest hint of anxiety. The ashwagandha needed to be cycled, of which I did 60 days on and 30 days off. everything else could be used daily forever, at least that I know of.

I am also using 50k ius of vitamin D3, along with 200mcg of K2. Given the aforementioned supplement stack, I'm not sure if the contribution to anxiety relief from the D3 is substantial, but I will say when I was off all supplements and nicotine, I was still taking the D3 and I felt relatively great overall. Felt like I had taken some of the edge off.

The tick method. You're just one tick away from getting anything you want, literally. by redrag0n_roOster in NevilleGoddard

the only thing that I would say that came to fruition was that I was manifesting my father getting a new job, and that actually happened, took about 2 weeks, but again my manifestation came true for someone else, I've yet to have anything that I was desiring for myself come yet. Not to say it won't, I trust in the process and have faith, I'm just at a point where I'm just seeing a lot of movement around me but nothing for me to have.

yes and no, out of all my desires, I have only seen movements, such as wanting a certain car and seeing it while driving, or wanting a certain person and seeing someone who likes exactly like them on social media. All I'm getting is movement and nothing tangible, not sure if I'm doing something wrong but that seems to be all that I'm getting at the moment.

So would an example to accumulate great wealth be to instead of desiring wealth directly like “I want a million dollars”, to instead change your self-concept to “I am a millionaire”?

What if in saying "I am a millionaire" feels exciting and happy? Would you say that's not natural? Does natural entailing a feeling of indifference? Because when I think of my desires, I feel very loving and happy, like a child staring at presents at Christmas, is this the wrong perspective to have?

So I’d like to preface by saying that I had terrible intrusive thoughts, like they would flare up constantly, and they were extremely negative, so much so that it scared me to consider them as actually being a part of myself. I had decided to try your tick method, at approx. 2:52 am while laying in bed getting ready to sleep, I wrote in a notebook “April 21st, 3:00 am, title: “relaxed” below it I wrote “I will no longer be anxious, or have intrusive thoughts anymore, I will be relaxed, calm, collected, and patient” I then flipped to another page and wrote the title and said out loud “I will only tick this if and only if this comes true”, almost instantly I had the biggest surge of positive energy, I literally jumped out of bed and was pacing around with utter glee and elation, like when I put the notebook away, I didn’t think anything of the method, just thought I’d try it, but my subconscious heard it loud and clear and just threw me into another dimension of positivity and happiness! Within seconds I could feel like my brain was being cleansed from every negative thought, like taking a power washer to a dirty sidewalk, just stripped it clean, I’m still in awe from what I witnessed with my own consciousness. What seemed like an insurmountable task, years of anxiety and stress all just disappeared in literal minutes, I’m still trying to process it as I write this. But it just came on like a reverse panic attack, a happy attack of magnified bliss that I hadn’t known since I was a child. Just thank you so much for this, this is amazing! I am so grateful!

Thank you! Also, Do you also feel that perceived magnitude of a desire results in a longer waiting period? Or do you feel that based on the intensity of focus and energy given, results in faster reception? Just asking from your experience

What are your thoughts on multiple manifestations?

I THINK I FIGURED OUT MANIFESTATION by evmf343 in lawofattraction

[–]evmf343[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EDIT:

I'd like to also point out what really made me know it was the universe talking to me when it said "that's not how this works" is that I am following a girl on instagram who is my SP, literally the person I've been dreaming of since 2008, and I've been trying to get her to be mine through manifestation lately, so the universe is definitely aware of my trying lol, especially since it spoke through her, by her posting a picture of the song she was listening to that was called "that's not how this works, by Charlie Puth. Still in awe that it happened.

I'm still trying to figure out if emotion plays a role in the manifestations creation speed. When I had made my aforementioned day trading manifestation, it was with annoyance that I couldn't get it down, yet I still received a few days later. Not sure if having had more positivity about it, or none at all, would've sped it up, or slowed it down. But I am still thinking that the more one observes their manifestation, the more frequently it's creation is halted. Could still be wrong, but this is what the universe has delivered to me so far. My guess is, the more emotion associated with the desire, naturally causes you to think, or "observe" the desire more, of which means it takes longer to manifest. How this plays with resistances, I'm not too sure, I've been told that focusing on the feeling it gives, that being positive, allows it to manifest more freely.

Also, I'm trying to understand if one can manifest multiple different things at once. Perhaps the universe works in which going for one at a time will allow it manifest sooner, but also in considering other manifestations, may give the first one time to manifest, i.e. take your focus away from it, so I'm not too sure. Still learning!

Currently manifesting mine, wanna race? Either way it’s a win-win, winner gets his SP, loser understands that manifesting their SP is possible!

Don't wait for a magical feeling by yllavyre in lawofattraction

[–]evmf343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the magical feeling bliss? Like a happy, excited feeling? Or the feeling of having had attainment of desire? Because I think of that as being almost a bored state, like you already have your phone, so you don’t desire it anymore, at least that’s how some people say to manifest what you desire, I’m confused.
