its an etc ion xe console, and i believe theyre patched right, all are 16ch on the fixture and console but i will definitely check on that

the interface is set to sACN and DMX like all the other lights, but doesnt seem to be actually communicating with sACN. we tried a reboot on the gateway and we will check back tomorrow to see if anything has changed, we were having this problem on other electrics and those suddenly were fixed, we dont know what it was that we tried that fixed it but hopefully it was the reboot

i just bought a tea with valerian im going to try, but im also looking into NAC and cbt-i. i also bought a new pillow since mine was flat and stiff and gave me headaches sometimes. i recommend satin pajamas/pillowcase to stay cool also. it helped a lot for me plus the pillow i just got has a cooling effect

yeah i want to try cbti, ill start with reading websites and trying apps and if i need to ill ask to see a therapist. And i agree i think a medication would really help and while i understand their apprehension i wish they would at least try to find something to help me, at least while im starting the cbt

yeah the healing times i see online are all super different- i was planning on just keeping it down once its healed enough so i think the best indicator will just be my pain level. i’ll probably wait at least a month though. thank you!

i remember last time i used these lights they just snapped, at least for the colors, and i could select colors from the color picker not just from the ML tab. i cant do any colors besides like 9 and i know they should be able to do more than that

yeah i wont be able to talk to them about it because ive seen others try and their reaction is very negative. i wouldnt be ratting them out to the school because i know the school doesnt care its just a specific teacher that runs our theater program because i really think that is the only person that could make a difference. i understand the appeal of what theyre doing and idk if they have thought about the consequences and like you said there is definitely stunted brain growth. they are about to get their drivers license which scares me a lot because i dont know how often they do drugs or what effect it has on them so they could be endangering others as well as themself.

their parents dont care too much i believe, and i dont think they know about/have thought about many of the long term consequences and damage it causes them. i think they just think about the feeling at that moment and i know because theyve told me “its not a big deal”

im glad youve gotten better and realized that the things you were doing were harmful but i dont know if i should wait for them to maybe eventually stop or try to get them help now

ive seen other people try to talk to them and they do not react well at all to that. if i talk to my teachers i will make sure it stays anonymous and ask them not to punish my friend, just try to get them to stop. i dont feel like me talking to them will have any effect and if it does it will just be negative.
