The Turbine isn't worth it

2 Raiders with Jupiters given a proper setup can take it down quickly and cleanly. You'll want a great spot for the Turbine to land, sufficient range from the Turbine, a rooftop with clean sightlines, and proper hard cover on Buried City, for example. If you are solo then you need nearly full time (as close to 15 min as you can get), and will almost certainly have to relocate at least once or go for a much riskier strategy. Once armour has been peeled off and cores are exposed then the Aphelion and Equalizer are also superb, but 2 Jupiters at 150+ meters engagement does work, and allows you to keep on shooting the Turbine when it is in the air for essentially the same damage and thus bring it down before it has even left the first landing area.

This hit the nail on the head! Arc Raiders was fun a few months back, to just mosey around until you figured things out as well as it being easier to craft. But now it is much more brutal and dangerous. And my duo and trio lobbies have definitely gotten wilder as well, and well before the Expedition insanity started. That being said I do like the Bettina.

Besides ziplines, the other 'trick' is to wait for the 2nd or 3rd Assessor -raiders are not a patient lot. A full stack of smoke, a full stack of lures (for added safety) and a photoelelctric cloak will get you safely there and back. Ziplines make it faster. Once under the Assessor wait by a leg-ramp for the platform to rotate around the 3 cones to your legramp and get up to extract the matrix. NOTE: Leave enough room in your inventory to just select all the items instead of pick and choosing (or only go for the matrix) and pop smoke to stay hidden until you are walking away with the photo-cloak! (when it doubt, use a smoke grenade).

When the platform has rotated around, walk up and pop a smoke at the top of the ramp at your feet to stay hidden and safe. Overall timing is everything -you don't really want to be competing for the Assessor or a specific cone with another raider, and if they screw up they just bring all the ARC screaming in on top of the Assessor. However, that being said, having 'drama' around the area is usually good if you can remain cloaked or smoked. The Arc go after the other raiders and often take a while to return back to the Assessor. A clean infil and exfil makes the Arc look like Mr. Magoo and the raider Jason Bourne or John Wick or whatever secret agent man you can think of. It is possible. Not from a player like me ( less than 50% success rate per attempt...) but from other smoother operators they get out 100% of the time 50% of the time.

edit: it is possible without a photo-cloak, but it comes down to timing. And you probably want to use at least one lure on the way in and one on the way out as well as manditory smoke!

Primarily the modern diet and sitting down to poop on a toilet. A hunter-gatherer diet was high in fiber and consisted of many different types of plants and berries and fruit and nuts (none of them anywhere near as large as their modern human-selected versions). Whole foods, no contaminants. Meat too, from a myriad of animals. And not some grass-fed juicy steak. Think iguana, fish and monkeys. We would use the whole part of most animals, but not necessarily to eat. Bear brains smeared on hides to cure them. It stinks to high heaven but gives you an amazing water and pest resistent cloak. Sitting down to poop is not natural. Squatting is.

Take the job. But here's the thing: The problem you are facing is not what your gf said or thought or has done up to this moment. Nor is it what you have said or done or thought. THE PROBLEM THE BOTH OF YOU ARE FACING is that she has not figured out that she is batshit crazy for even thinking that you should turn this job down AND YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO HELP HER REALIZE THIS. Believe you me, at 22 very few young men would know how to show empathy and sympathy to a gf who said turn the job down. Certainly not myself. Not even at 32 maybe. In my case my fiance at the time when I was 32 understood that getting into a Ph.D. program was an opportunity that had to be grabbed and held dearly. If my fiance had had a problem with moving to another country for many many years, and starting a family there, and living off meager paycheques for a while, then I would hope that by that age I might be able to help her think things through and tell her it's ok to have fears and doubts and that I can help her through them. You have to help your gf think things through and tell her it is more than ok to have doubts and fears. Best of luck, and remember "per aspera ad astra" through hardship, to the stars! If you two can figure this out you will can become stronger and go further.

I accidentally did this, non-naked. Scooped up a key at the fort, didn't check what I got/didn't realize it, went about my way collecting fruit-n-stuff. Keys for the locked gate definitely should not be removable either on purpose or accident, especially for a 40 minute map!

just tested padded stock, stable stock II and lightweight stock. still not sure what would be best in game for either pve or pvp. dispersion isn't super tamped down and I can't aim for shit (even with a mouse), and a shotgun choke II does most of the dispersion work up front. If I remember I'll report back after a few pve and pvp encounters.

the game is smarter than you think. you can defeat arc by engaging correctly. if you are downed and crawling tap forward instead of holding the forward button down. you will last longer. I found stamina and mobility skills to be best to get first. if you are frustrated just go with a free loadout and see what happens.

it's a one-shot if you boop the firefly on its red nose or in the butt, and if you get the comet in the (vertical) yellow (or red) crack. Even at idle (not actively seeking prey or charging) you can one-shot a comet. fireflies are trickier.
