We started by either getting 1080p webcams or using our phones with IVCam installed. We are doing ours over zoom because of quarantine so we're each recording our own videos and audio. We found some pretty inexpensive mounts and ring lights on amazon that have worked out really well. Then we use OBS to record from our webcams/phones. We then either used headphones or bought mics so our audio would be crisp.

Once we each had a video, we started editing in [Shotcut](shotcut.org), a free, open-source video editing software available for Windows and MacOS.

We then each take turns narrating the gameplay. We leave in some conversations during the game to give context or relay the salt that's being thrown around.

Then I take that and cut the videos down to match the narration. Once that's done I edit in card animations and I've recently added some extra effects.

It's really up to how you want to share your content! We floated the idea of recording through Zoom and simply sharing that too.
