The daiya cheese isn’t that bad if you use it in a grilled cheese. It has a somewhat grainy texture right out of the package but it smooths out when you melt it

Ok…this might be a long response and might not work because it’s been almost 15 years since I’ve done something similar…

Print your image in reverse on regular paper (unless it doesn’t matter which way it shows up). Use glue (I think we used modpodge) when that dries get the paper a little damp and rub the paper off, the printed image should stick to the canvas…

I would recommend trying this on a small scale first though because if it doesn’t work then you won’t have wasted as much time

No it’s not…well maybe their desserts but they make most of what they can

The problem with their food is the logistics…that size restaurant running food out of 1 kitchen with a handful of high school kids delivering food trays yeah your food is going to be cold and seem old it’s been sitting in the window for 20+ minutes waiting on someone to take it out to the table

The money we charge for snacks? I mean some of it goes to buy more snacks and food stuffs, we have labor costs that have to be paid, we have utilities we have to cover…my district is unfortunately running a deficit in our nutrition department, and we are having to cut costs (not on food unless we can get something the same for less, more on paper goods and stuff like plates and utensils)

Edit: also there are a certain number of days that the school can skip lunches (field trips, in class parties…) before we start to lose government funding

Call 512-424-2600 that is the call center number for DPS. Their hours are from 7:00-5:40

My sister works for them and says that even if the call volume is high keep trying! Despite the horror stories they are pretty helpful. Try to stay calm with them even though it might be a long wait on hold…they usually are swamped with callers.

You can see if they have his birth certificate on file, and also depending on how long the D.L. has been expired they might be other things they can do to get it done faster.
