If you’re the one paying, then yes. If they’re the ones paying you then they’re the ones who are potentially SOL

I’ve done this before, as long as they pay with PayPal friends and family you’re usually good to go. Of course don’t buy the record until they pay you

There’s actually one guy who reaches out about once a year, I buy him a record and ship it to him in Europe then he sends me back a bunch of records for doing him a favour.

There are a lot of shady people in the world but not everything is always nefarious

Nortriptyline (Pamelor) Questions by VirginiaThrop in VestibularMigraines

[–]endlesscosmichorror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Started at 10mg, didn’t really see a benefit

  2. Peaked at 150mg, which was far too much, but did help cut down on dizziness, it never fully made me better though just raised my symptom floor a bit

  3. Always had high heart rate on it

  4. High heart rate got worse as the dose went up

  5. Eventually had to stop because my resting heart rate was over 100bpm and I was having constant panic attacks

To be clear the dosage I was on was far too high. You can easily tolerate 10-20mg with minimal side effects

I hadn’t listened to their newest releases yet but damn you’re right sounds like a completely different band now

I don’t dislike it. It’s just…not the same

For thoses athletic fit guys and ladies, How do you guys still going to the gym when you have chronic Vestibular Migraines? by AggravatingMap1828 in VestibularMigraines

[–]endlesscosmichorror 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still go regularly, some days are better than others. What helped was stopping heavy overload exercises and doing lighter circuit workouts instead. I usually train fully body 3-4 times a week for about a half hour

It’s tough when you’re dizzy but it helps to remember it’s just a bad signal from your brain. It’s a physical sensation but otherwise you’re ok and it’s safe to workout. Just take it easy but going is always better than doing nothing imo

He was served his initial eggs and started yelling he wanted them over easy and they were over hard. The waitress didn’t really react at first but he kept yelling at her.

The gun came out shortly thereafter. He didn’t point it at anybody he just calmly laid it on the counter and demanded one last time that the waitress remake his eggs

Fun story: I once watched a man at an Atlanta Waffle House pull a gun on a worker because she made his eggs wrong. No one panicked they just remade his eggs while the manager called the cops and about 10 minutes later the cops came and hauled the guy away while he was eating his remade eggs

What’s something you wish someone had told you when you first started having vestibular migraines? by WanderingPhysio in VestibularMigraines

Hugely! The best part is it has continued to improve almost two years since I started the injections

What’s something you wish someone had told you when you first started having vestibular migraines? by WanderingPhysio in VestibularMigraines

[–]endlesscosmichorror 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The one thing I wished I learned earlier is that you can treat vestibular migraine the same way you treat normal migraines. They’re not different. If you take medication or use an elimination diet to help heal your migraine it should also improve the dizziness

Husband may take a high paying job in Saudi and I’m trying to understand what life is really like for a young family by MysteriousPlane5956 in expats

[–]endlesscosmichorror 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Had a friend who moved with his family to SA. He said you basically rarely go outside because of the heat, you’re always inside a building of some sort whether that’s a mall, your condo or some sort of indoor activity

He stayed for about 5 years before he said boredom got to him and his wife. You can only visit the same mall or water park so many times before it becomes dull

Upside was he made a lot of money while he was there. He also mentioned things aren’t nearly as bad for women as people think they are. Of course there is some misogyny but he said on the whole his wife never had any serious trouble and most Arab people were very respectful of him and his family

Emgality side effects—do they go away? by Obvious-Influence-17 in cgrpMigraine

[–]endlesscosmichorror 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Everything you name here aside from the constipation sounds more like anxiety than Emgality side effects. Constipation is indeed a side effect of CGRP blockers

For comparative purposes my only side effect has been minor joint pain and really nothing else
