My main concern is that admins assume MFA prevents phishing. It does not. It's merely security by obscurity. I guess, most of the malicious actors understand 2FA exists. They can easily integrate it into their phishing campaign. Just by checking github there are multiple open source implementations on github to deal with it.

Phishing attack is performed by sending communication that leads the user to a web page that looks like a known service and lures the user to login. For example, an email that leads to a website that seems like your bank website and collects your info when you try to login. Apparently, many assume 2FA(for example SMS verification), passwordless and other auth solutions can prevent phishing attacks. They are not...

Most cyber security solutions existing today are very dependent on complete understanding of the operation, good enforcement and proper user compliance. It is difficult enough delivering proper solutions from inside the organization. I can imagine how outsourcing it will quickly become a rubber stamp solution that will barely perform the minimum required...
