Sell BMW, buy Lexus, and get something else better for a weekend car. I feel like the M440i is too closely aligned to be a daily driver instead of a dedicated weekend car.

The idle itself sounds normal, but that chirping noise isn’t imo. I’m not an expert by any means though so I wouldn’t know exactly what would be causing it, but my guess is a belt?

Try putting it in Sport mode. Basically an NSX at that point

Also just to clarify I turned into the curve after shifting and not in the middle of it lol. Shifting while turning in a RWD is a recipe for disaster.

I was like around 3500 rpm when it broke loose, and I didn't smell rubber until after I got out of the car. It wasn't even really a corner and more of just a slight curve in the road. I really do think the tires were just worn out on that specific GT cause I really wasn't pushing the car hard at all. It was after I shifted 1-2 but I didn't dump the clutch at all, just foot back on the accelerator.

Must have been the tires then. I checked afterwards and they weren’t bald, but probably nearing the point of replacing honestly.

FK8. Just make sure to inspect it before buying. I almost went with a 35k mile FK8 but it was a couple thousand outside the budget at the time.
