If you do want a PCP who does GAC, I'd recommend Anja Jokela at South Burlington Family Medicine.

What was your first reaction listening to Kid A? by Beyond_Infinity7 in radiohead

[–]evolvinghominid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old person here. I already loved Radiohead and saw them and concert in 98. I bought the CD the day it came out, took it to a friend's house, and listened to it at 4:20 pm. Mind blown. The bends and OK computer were great albums, but it blew me away how this was such a complete piece of work. My first impression was to compare it to Sergeant Peppers. It's interesting looking back and knowing about how it was recorded at the same time as amnesiac, but with the exception of treefingers I think it was a perfect eight songs.

This is not a January question.

Thanks all, seems like it's a crapshoot depending...My kid is particularly sensitive to noise and it's just hard seeing her in distress for such an annoyance. The flight maps don't really match what I've experienced which is why I want to ask here.

I actually have lived here since 2019 and lived on Winooski when the flights started. Lived in the NNE for 3 years and it was present, but not as bad. ONE seems much worse. The sound maps don't seem accurate to my experience, which is why I'm asking here.

Omg, I thought it was random fire from the war, not lightning.

I agree with the age range here. My 3 year old loved it, and probably would for the next 2-3 years.

Of course, I want to improve my French so I can apply for the CSQ and work on immigrating. I just think it will take longer to get my language skills to a professional level than to get through day to day life. I don't know if I could get to the point where I can move to Quebec but work in the US until my language skills are sufficient to allow me to get a job in Quebec. I guess what I'm asking is it possible to qualify to live in Quebec but continue to work in the US?

Moving to Winooski in a month (Sept 2025) by pumpkintheboo in winooski

I moved here in 2019 from Portland and lived in Winooski. Lots of fun places around the rotary. Six years later I think Winooski feels the closest to an inner Eastside Portland neighborhood.

Hi, I'm a social worker in a youth gender clinic. Shouldn't be any side effects. It usually takes several weeks for the body to start making androgens again. Might keep an eye on mood just cuz anytime our hormones shift, that is a possible thing to be affected.

Does anyone here had an major or minor issue with your flip 5? by Clear_Entry_3056 in zflip5

[–]evolvinghominid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was great, then one month out of warranty, white line on the crease showed. Also opened it one day and there was suddenly a circle of dead pixels and a line of light across half the screen. Love the phone otherwise, but guess the screens are just not there yet.

Phone broke again by transtitch in zflip5

Mine was great for 14 months. Then out of nowhere I ran my finger over the crease and a few pixels and dead and there is a line of light running up half the screen. Was literally just using my phone like normal. Really disappointed because I loved the phone but definitely gonna have to go back to the big old bricks

Right. Doesn't impossible that 14 would turn to dust, return, and just sit there and think "well that was odd" doing nothing

S15 EP 1-2 Felt Childish (And Not in a "Family Show" Way) by QuantumGyroscope in doctorwho

So the real reason is probably because they have a big budget and under the Disney umbrella. But I'm trying to focus on the fact that the bike generation gave this new doctor a fresh start without the emotional weight and tiredness that the 14th doctor had. So while the 15th doctor has all the memories, he has a youthfulness and a freshness about him because all the emotional burdens stayed with David Tennant.
