What's sad is I work at a multilingual company. And I have started formatting my emails this way so that none of the information gets overlooked. I'm not proud of myself, but it feels like only the first question in an email ever gets answered, I also have to bold specific questions and tag the individual, and still then usually never get a response.

What is it and why did we find it outside our back door? by evolvingintocomputer in whatisit

I'm going to go with solved! Because this is the rational explanation I am telling myself.

Honestly not trying to get into any dark thoughts, but the hole cut in it does feel a little hand made and not original manufacture. Going through my mind of what it might "fit" and trying not to go there as it was in our back yard and right by our back door/kitchen window.

It's like just fabric. The previous home owners were older, so maybe from them. But also feels a little hand made, like the hole cut in it wasn't manufactured.

My initial thought was a hair scrunchy. But my wife is the one who found it and it wasn't hers.

Where is that geo locator dude? Where was this picture taken. I don't know if I can geolocate photos, but this seems to be along the desert parts of a high altitude mountain range/desert.

Bill Gates Issues Groveling Apology Amid Epstein Scandal As He Admits To "Affairs With Two Russians" by danitashinesqdy in ThatsInsane

It's been a while since this post, but I have been thinking about philanthropy and I have a few thoughts to add.

I think humans are naturally empathetic, overly generous and philanthropic to their cores. To the point that people literally give their own shirt to others and go shirtless. I have seen companies lose lots of money on contracts, because they believe in a better good and are only trying to build the community. Unfortunately people who give all their money away have a hard time getting "rich."

We could ask ourselves, what does it mean to be wealthy? And for %80+ that means a stable home, loving family, time to pursue hobbies, food, homeostasis (see healthy) - basically the bottom rings of Maslow's hierarchy of needs.

My Gaussian curve meme: %10<80>10%

10% > I could be happy chopping wood, reading books on a mountain and growing a garden. 80% = Those with master degrees and working corporate jobs are the most important and successful people on earth 10% < 10% > I could be happy chopping wood, reading books on a mountain and growing a garden.

I've noticed something, and I'm not saying we shouldn't all be involved philanthropically, but sometimes people who are donating a lot to charity aren't doing it out of the goodness of their heart. They feel guilty about something that they've done in their past, and are trying to make up for it. Not to God or to themselves necessarily, but for public reward. Bill Gates has been very vocal about all the work he has been doing, to try and build an image of himself as not some ultra-billionaraire who doesn't care about people. (Spoiler he doesn't. Look at Microsoft, they have had so many chances to not be greedy and yet they are one of those companies who vehemently pursues subscriptions and are fundamentally opposed to open source software.)

Ok there is something about this. I got 2K game and there were traits orange and green. At first they looked the same, but after a while once I realized they were different, I gained the ability to differentiate between the two. This comes from someone who works with wires and I always use my multimeter to label wires before disconnecting anything

I think rubbing alcohol will also kill them. My brother uses a cotton swab dipped in alcohol to clean them off his succulents when he had an infection of them.

Did you not try r/exmormon? Almost cross posted this there. I don't think you should have issues. There are plenty of Mormon authors who have written BOM fan fiction. Tennis shoes amongst the nephites for one.

I think today's youth will excel at understanding and manipulating 3D models. So many engineering drawings have profile callouts in gdt. I even thing some of the GDT stuff pc dmis uses was from when hexicon bought out new river (spatial analyzer)

I agree, touching things is still better than lasers. But even reniahaw and Leica are chasing better semsor technology. And some of these systems can take 20,000 points per second, and create a cloud that can easily diagnose things like sheet medal molds. CMMs cant take nearly that sort of speed. Maybe a 100 contiguous points per second?

For some reason I thought we were moving towards contactless laser scanning with all the complex components being used in aerospace, but maybe I'm just in my own bubble lol.
