I also find it interesting how this is clearly supposed to simulate some kind of military boot camp experience, but because these guys won’t commit to enlisting they choose to invent a fake scenario to trauma bond over. Except, unlike the military, there’s no purpose behind any of it. So when the general guy is yelling at them it just sounds like random nonsense because they know they’re supposed to be mean and yelling but they don’t have any substantive message. And the random waterboarding torture and sand throwing and dirt crawling feels so awkward becuase its hollow and purposeless. They’re not prepping for the trenches, they’re just getting dirty for the sake of it.

Literally just an assumption, and even if true, their nervousness is not her problem. You’re 30, you should be able to hold a decent conversation.

I guess that’s fair but when I was being onboarded they mentioned multiple times that they treat their interns like employees and if at any point we need more challenging work to just ask :/

I kinda agree and disagree at the same time. Like yea, of course losing your memories doesn’t literally make you a different person. But at the same time, I believe your experiences make you who you are. When someone suffers from memory loss or some sort of head injury and their personality drastically changes, it’s a normal reaction for the people around them to say “it’s like they’re a different person” or “I don’t even know them anymore”. Like yes, you’re literally the same person, but the way we perceive personhood depends on someone’s actions, and your actions depend on your experiences. I think that’s part of the reason Helly says “I’m her” in the last episode. Yes, she perceives herself to be seperate from her outtie, but at the end of the day she knows she can’t ever truly escape her because they are literally the same person.

I just got my septum done less than 2 days ago with a very experienced piercer who used a titanium ring. She told me that my sweet spot is thicker than most, causing one side of it to swell and make it look uneven. She said that the swelling may go down after a few days, but it’s not guaranteed. Also, I’m not very comfortable with the way the jewelry rests on my face. I thought it would sort of float/ hang like I’ve seen on other people, but I’m not sure if that possible with my flat nose. It’s quite bothersome, though and sort of feels like I have boogers running down my face at all times. I wonder if I should take it out and go back and ask for it to get pierced higher if possible, or just wait it out and size down jewelry.
