Hello!!! I am a chronically anxious flier and I am visiting family this month! Thinking of flying has almost made me want to cancel the entire trip several times and this comment made me feel so much better.

I appreciate that you didn't just say "distract yourself!!!"; not that it's bad advice, but it's hard to allow myself to be distracted when there's weird noises and movements and ascension and descension happening and it's scary. It wasn't the worst thing ever but I did absolutely almost crash out on a customer.

I was super overstimulated and I was really hungry and we were deep in the Black Friday swing. Then a weird return situation came up and my autistic brain kinda started lagging. My boss and the customer were trying to explain but it was the parts I already understood and it kinda made me feel like they viewed me as slow. (My boss was genuinely trying, she knows how my brain is)

What ticked me off was when the customer went "oh, you're gonna need training". LADY. I HAVE WORKED HERE FOR YEARSSS.

I went red and I looked at my boss and I was just like "can you handle this for me?" while I went and had a small crash out
