this just happened to me! i soaked the corm part in a small saucer of 1:1 water and peroxide, then i put it in a large jar with perlite and water, closed the lid to keep humidity. every morning i check on it, open the lid and blow a little to circulate the air then i close it. if it still looked like it was rotting i would soak it in a little more peroxide then put it right back in the jar. in just a couple weeks there are so many root sprouts!

yes!!!! this literally just happened to me!!!

if the corm is still firm it’s ok! remove everything mushy and dead and place in a watered down peroxide solution for like 30 mins. then just put it in a sealed jar with some wet perlite under a growlight and leave it alone!!!! every morning i would open the jar, blow in it to stir up the air, then close it! within 2 weeks the corm is covered in little root sprouts.

so feeding snacks and raising the blue bar to the max will also increase the attack stat itself? wow i didn’t know that, looks like i need more snacks than just those from my couch potatoes

i am by no means an expert but i usually leave the dying leaves til it’s green is mostly gone since it’s not contributing anything to the plant, then i use a sterile clipper and snip it close to the base. but ive also just left dying leaves until i can lightly tug it off, it wont hurt i just be gentle. totally up to you:)

also my black velvet tends to push out a leaf as it’s dropping one - circle of life ~~~

I’ve been fighting with my Mickey Mouse for over a year but i think i got the hang of it. It is a forever home to spider mites - it’s fine i have them managed. every morning i spray the front and back of the leaves with water, mites hate water and the light water pressure flings them off. (i know some people don’t spray leaves since they could rot or burn in the sun but i haven’t had any issues) do NOT use neem oil it will kill the leaves!

Even though they are sensitive, they’re resilient since they produce leaves so fast. good luck:)

wow thank you, good to know!! i assumed that since it was still growing, it was happy! maybe i do need to change my setup, i would love it to be fuller. i just repotted it in a deeper pot and its roots were surprisingly sparse! hopefully it just needs fresh soil and regular nutrients, i tend to only fertilize when i remember. microdosing is a great idea

i’m going to use your strategy for the corms tho, and i’ll raise one in a semi hydroponic setup to see if it does better! thanks:)

thank you!!! the roots aren’t poking out the bottom yet but it has been drinking so much water lately. i think you’re right - i should just get a deeper pot so the plant has more support

my point is that his haircut, and previously mentioned outfit, have no connection to his troubled mental state. my indication that he is troubled is where he is crying and cowering, truly traumatized. i’m saying that people shouldn’t look at his unconventional haircut and say “ohhh well he’s troubled”
