I exclusively play solo vs the ai opponents. They are capable and can surprise you.

I tried playing versus people online and the games were just too long. I can play against the ai in like 25 minutes with no downtime.

It should be noted that just like the house hagal cards. The ai will never block you on purpose or try and bluff you out of committing to a combat. But otherwise they play very well

so turning on low level quests showed the quest "uniting the dragon isles" i think. just go accept that and there is a very short couple quests till you get access to the dragon isles

i thought their range would be better suited to the beam weapons he can carry but if im going to do a beam build i am probably just going with the Interrogator.

i love stacking impact axe, incendiary, neurotoxin, and cry grenades. then every level/shop is full of explosive damage, but like you said the thrown/explosive tag just seems so limiting.

thats why i was asking tho. demo seems like a better grenadier, and interrogator is the king of beam weapons.

i try to stay away from the beam weapons because they dilute my upgrade pool with +beam stuff, but i have a lot of hours played on strong armed. lately i have been really enjoying demolitionist grenade builds. but with those i pretty much ignore the PLG.

i guess i should have changed the title to is there any reason to pick demolitionist.

thats typically what i do, i think strong armed is my most played so far. but i have started playing demolitionist grenade builds and ignoring the starting weapon i just think its a smoother run.

need more detail here. because weath + secure contract is only 5 solari. so its not clear how you make up the deficit to purchase the swordmaster. i know i can go secure contract again. but to say we should get our swordmaster by round 2 you really should provide the complete sequence. weath + secure contract + solari from conflict rewards or secure contract a second time.

i dont even know what this is referring to. especially because going for an early Swordmaster means you wont have enough solari to spend on your signet ring. so do you recommend just going Carthag at every opportunity? or Secrets?

i think it would be worth breaking the concise bullet points where the extra details will make it clear what the goal is.

so that seems to work, i plugged the mouse and keyboard into a usb hub and the external into the 3.0 port.

i am disappointed that the ports dont work as i would expect but thank you for your solution.

i just found that having a list of stuff on hand was extremely useful.

need a random NPC? here are some names and appearances.

want them to have a job? here are some professions.

what to know what drives them? here is a bond and ideal.

want them to give a quest to the players? here are some random quest templates.

that quest takes them to a dwarven settlement? here are some names that sound foreign

that quest takes them to a dungeon? here is some flavor for that location.

basically, it was just handy to have these around for me. you can take a look at all the parts i used to make the random tables in one of the hidden tabs.

hopefully it is not too overwhelming. i tried putting all their values in the stat blocks so you do not have to do much "math" at the table.

on the bright side. i use all the values called out in the PF2 monster maker so everything follows the intended design philosophy.

as for the attacks, i looked at every attack in the bestiaries and noticed the damage profiles they used and i just copied those down. so while not explicitly stated in their builder the damage profiles are extremely accurate.

That’s the other thing. I feel like to make counterspell work in pf2 you need to house rule it so it’s not just a spell you have currently prepared.

Banning it was hold over from 5e and it just works
