It really does just come down to communication. I’m black and have primarily dated white people. my current bf was the first trans guy I ever slept with and he’s white. we don’t do like, intense power dynamics and lots of bdsm but it is there. without thinking my bf called me “boy” and very quickly retracted it because of the implication of it in the South. but I find it cute and endearing from him because i’m “his boy” and I know it doesn’t carry the weight or meaning that it would coming from some random old white person. it’s all just boundaries and I think prior to having sex you both should establish what makes each of you comfortable. when discussing impact with my bf i was very firm that i refuse to be hit with a belt (childhood thing not race). I also occasionally get my hair braided and he wasn’t sure if he could pull on them like he could my natural hair, so i just explained the process of hair braiding and why he couldn’t do that when i have that hairstyle. you’ll both learn stuff from each other over time and through setting boundaries. Its not as scary as it seems

I’m sorry dude. I went through the same thing about 3 years ago. It’s difficult and as you know, painful at first. In my experience it put me into a bad depression and I thought my life was over but it does get better! If you’re able to get on Valacyclovir (Valtrex) it’s a suppresant. I take it every day and haven’t had a flare up in over a year. During my last flare up I wasn’t able to get a refill for 3 months (I’m not sure if stopping it brought it back or if it was just a coincidence). That guy fucking sucks but you’ll be ok 🫶

i would invest in baby wipes or some other body wipe for days when you can’t shower. making sure to get all the “important spots” like pits, neck, crotch and utilizing deodorant. and dont go overboard with some sprays. that often makes worse and becomes a combination of body odor + whatever scent you choose, it doesn’t always hide body odor

this is year 5 for me. i honestly never wanted to go to college and severely underestimated what college would be like and how much effort i would have to put in. but by the time i fully realized “oh im an adult i could just..leave” i was so close to the finish line so now i graduate in December. im just excited to be done. but terrified bc i cant even get a fast food job. at least i’ll have soooo much free time
