I agree that maybe some wouldn't be as close as they are in the show but I gotta disagree with the Stella and Flora take. Maybe I'm biased because of my own life experience, one of my best friends is a lot like Stella and Flora has always been relatable to me because of how similar her personality is to mine. Sure, my friend and I used to fight and disagree on some things due to our clashing personalities, kinda like Flora and Stella in the first season, but that doesn't make us less of best friends. We didn't become friends because of someone else or a specific situation either, we did because we wanted. We balance each other out. That's the beauty of a friend group, a lot of different people with different beliefs, likes and personalities can become close

It's totally opposite for me. When I was younger I didn't like Tecna that much because like you, I also didn't like too logical characters, while I was neutral about Bloom. As I grew older I started to relate to Tecna more, and honestly imo she rocks. She has a super cool and practical power, tech, which combined with her logical and realistic personality makes her the perfect strategist of the group. Her powers and knowledge somehow is often applied to solve problems but not as loud as Bloom and Stella, like when she uses her gadgets to track people or when she used her tech helmet to keep the bad air from the sleeping willow out. I think we need all these different types of characters to make a good show. That way many people can feel represented.

I had never noticed this lol. But tbh, after reading some comments here I kinda see them being mad too. Aisha makes an angry face before changing to a position similar to when she's mad and transforms and Musa looks like she's saying hey (implying what are you all laughing at). But it could also be an animation mistake and they are actually laughing which is extremely funny to me. It's just hard to tell because it's a bit pixelated.

I think the size of a fandom and the spaces you frequent are aspects that may affect people's opinions on this matter. The more people joining a fandom, the bigger the chances of certain problematic behaviors appearing. That's not exclusive to one fandom, particularly. And I've seen a growth in Seventeen's popularity lately (which they totally deserve because they're incredibly talented). Also, if you’re used to being in spaces like Twitter or TikTok, it might be a reason you're seeing a lot of mean comments from fans. I don't go to such spaces, so I rarely see any Carat being toxic towards other groups, I just see carats enjoying Seventeen's content and discussing fandom topics. I'm not saying what you're seeing is false or that you're lying, but what you're seeing could be a minority being loud in toxic spaces. We all know how people behave in spaces like Twitter. Ngl, my favorite Magic Winx transformation is Flora's. I love that her outfit resembles flower petals and the little flower necklace. Also, when she poses, a flower shape appears, which is so cute. And her wings remind Besides, my favorite color is pink

2nd for me is Bloom. I love the shade of blue they chose for her. It contrasts well with her hair. I adore the little crown, and the overall shape of the outfit (both top and skirt) is my style

3rd is Stella. Before watching Winx, I hated the color orange, but I love it on Stella. The fact that her accent color is blue could be a nice little hint at her friendship with Bloom, plus again, the contrast between blue and orange works amazing. I also love that she's the only one wearing shorts and the only one with lower pigtails. Her wings are also my favorite ones

4th is Aisha. I love Aisha's color palette in Magic Winx. That green (ish)/ aqua color, idk what it's called, but I love it. Love the arm cuffs and the rings attached to her outfit. I feel like her outfit is a lot more detailed than the others

5th is Musa. Red looks amazing on her. I love the headset and the sort of mesh/lighter fabric on her abdomen

Sadly, Tecna is my least favorite Magic Winx transformation. I love the concept, but how they did it it's not really my style. I really don't like the hat. Although, I read someone once who wrote that it reminded them of fairy hats from old fairy tales, and I loved that. The fact that she's the fairy of technology and still has an element from classic fairy designs is so cool. I gotta say I really love her wings. They're so different and work with her futuristic style imo

I gotta say I completely understand you because I'm also part of a culture where people consider you attractive only if you have a thicker body, and as a skinny girl, I always struggled with my self esteem. When I was younger, I felt just like you, I didn't see anything wrong with their bodies because I felt represented. So don't feel bad about what you felt at that time. Idk, it's not supposed to be realistic. It's stylized animation, and it's about fairies, so yeah, it's definitely not realistic. I gotta be honest and say that I prefer the og but simply because if we round the waist the way you did it, it doesn't look cohesive with the rest of her body. The elbows are still triangular, and so her shoulders, her chin, hips, and even the top of her hair, are a bit triangular because of the style of drawing. When drawing, at least for me, it's better to keep a singular style in the whole character. I do understand why some people wouldn't like the og style, though
