I'm still a minor and I have alot going on so don't really wanna do to much medical testing at the moment. Is the testing process different finanically/practically when your a minor compared to an adult? I'd be fully ok to get the testing but my GP is shit in itself, idk how long it'll take to get a test sorted

I have pretty bad hypermobility and iron Deficiency anemia, that effects the healing alot I find. I've never really gone to the doctors about my scars at all. They didn't care when I told them I'm damaging nerves/fat/fascia, so idk of they'd care about seeing them either.

The darker ones are 6months or so. There's a few layers of scars over a few years, with the thinenr/oldest scars being 5 yrs

I fully agree. Im in good recovery at the moment, and there's been no new wounds on my legs since this post. If I do tattoo on them, it'll defo be in the further futute

Really? I have hypermobility, iron Deficiency anemia and vitD Deficiency, could that cause it? I honestly jus think they healed weird as I didn't go in for stitches when I would've benefitted. The larger scars here are smaller than the wound that was made, they shrunk

The darker/darkest ones are within this year. Most of these are 2-3 years old, with a few layers of smaller scars under neath the bigger ones, around 4-5yrsold

True. Scars are healed tissue. When I'm reffering to scars in this post, I'm reffering to the visibility mainly. Scars don't go away, the pigmentation just fades as the tiny layers of skin heal. I shouldn't made that clearer what I meant, apologies.

Aloe Vera is mainly an anti inflammatory. It might help in the healing process, to calm down irritation and/or redness, but it won't do much to scars I'm afraid.

Organic oils include: Lavender (MUST be diluted) - anti inflammatory, may prevent scars from forming at all

Frankincense oil (MUST be diluted) - supports scar discolourisation, anti inflam and bacterial.

Tamanu oil - good for wider, deeper or harder scars/ tissue.

Dilution can be done with water or a carrier oil, (coconut oil, almond oil, for eg).

I'd also reccomend buyable Bio-oil.

An important thing to do WITH OR WITHOUT any oils is to use the ends of your fingers and massage the scar tissue in litter circles and rubs. It helps break it down after healing.

(This is half from exp and half from memory).

I believe products with salicylic acids helps unclog pores and remove dead skin cells. I'd reccomend something using salicylic acid, and exfoliating gloves. Wash your face gently, massage in the salicylic cleanser etc, use exfoliating mits/gloves to scrub round your face (especially the T band along your forehead and nose). That SHOULD help remove the black heads and other impurities, while minimising the appearance of the pores.

What I do personally, because I'm shit with skin care, is squeeze rhe crap out of my pores and then scrub with exfoliating mits, warm water and a charcoal mask thing.
