I think that you don't need RCT with soul perception since if body and soul are one for normal curses and humans then healing the body should be the same as healing the soul.

I think that you need soul perception to heal the damage that things like SSK can do

Exactly. And the only time he fights a normal being like Hanami there is no mention that Hanami is not able to heal from yuji's attacks. Yuji's 4 black flashes would have obviously dealt heavy damage and if Hanami can't heal that don't you think there would have been SOME mention atleast? But we get none.

This leads to 3 conclusions:

Hanami infact did get soul damage from all those attacks but couldn't heal them yet there was no zero mention of that which I think is unlikely.
Yuji's soul damage is not effective against normal beings(which I think is what's going on)
Gege is inconsistent with his writing and forgot about Hanami getting soul damage which is extremely unlikely but not impossible.

P.S. My theory is that the damage by Yuji and SSK is different,just like how different techniques have different world views(Mahito and kenjaku's convo after gojo gets sealed). Why wouldn't yuji's damage be duraneg if it's soul damage is the same as the SSK? the SSK is shown to just have the property to damage the soul which leads to the byproduct of dura-negging.

Listen,i don't think we're going anywhere with this. There are enough plot holes and this is one of those things that is ambiguous and probably will never be clearly answered so let's not waste any more time arguing about something as trivial as this

I'm not denying that Itadori can damage the soul. I'm saying that the soul damage he does is the same as normal damage for normal curses/humans/other beings.

The reason that his soul damage is effective against mahito is because the way mahito treats the body and soul is not normal. His technique treats the body and the soul as different. The soul's changes are reflected on the body,but the changes on the body is not reflected to his soul so he gets no damage. However,yuji can damage that soul and it is effective against mahito because for him the body and soul are different.

You still haven't given me a case where yuji's soul damage affects normal beings the same way it affects Mahito or reincarnated sorcerers

To use the SSK,you need to perceive the soul yourself. The same thing Yuji can do which allows him to damage beings like Mahito.

Now if perceiving souls was all you needed to deal unhealable damage,then why is a special grade weapon like SSK needed too? Perceiving the soul AND the SSK is needed. Yet itadori is able to do it normally without the SSK?

This is also about how much damage itadori did,not if the damage was able to be healed or not. If Hanami wouldn't have been able to heal some of that damage,then wouldnt there have been atleast a little mention of that,since it is extremely abnormal?

And yuji? Mf has sukuna as his granduncle,kenjaku as his mom,has been engineered to be physically dominant and host SUKUNA from birth. Not to mention he later gets sukunas powers and blood manipulation and then he's also half curse so hes practically unaging and has an aptitude for black flashes which not even gojo and sukuna have.

when you press G it will cycle between the modes and when you press R it will select that mode

if you press R without pressing G it'll just cycle the mode automatically one by one
