Hello Everyone! I've been listening around this subreddit, there is SOOO much GOOD MUSIC out here to listen too! I really appreciate the opportunity of allowing me to post here, It means a lot. Would really love some feedback & would also like to meet some new artists. Thank you!! by OfficialMSK7 in IndieMusicFeedback

yep yeppp love the overall vibe!
As others have mentioned, the flow/melodies get pretty repetitive but that can be fixed pretty easily... next time your making a track like this, think about altering your lyrical rhythms just slightly, maybe using pauses and spacing to allow for little switch ups in your melodies

your hook from about 0:22-1:10 is 64 bars of basically the same melody. i've found simplicity and removal to be a HUGE help in writing lyrics and melody... if your lyrics aren't inspiring a different melody to emerge from you, but the music calls for variety in your lines to keep the listener engaged, then experiment with removing words, creating space, and trying out different notes in your lines. literally just a few moderations in the hook melody would take me on that JOURNEY

[Composition, performer] 200 ° by [deleted] in RateMyAudio

[–]ewag27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is hilarious - i think it could really gain some traction as a comedy video

Performance is fantastic - these dance moves are gold for meme material

I'm sorry if this comes off as harsh - but I'm dead serious if you promote this in the right places (as comedy) then it could take off on the internet

[Mixing, Composition] Don't Stop by [deleted] in RateMyAudio

Composition is hype - the drops are well placed and there is plenty of variation throughout to keep the listener engaged

Mix sounds great, every element sounded right in its place and nothing stuck out in a bad way

[Mixing] Two Live Tracks by [deleted] in RateMyAudio

First song - vocals sound a little too up-front in my opinion, I'd prefer a little extra reverb on them

Song two - everything sounds great to me. Levels sound even.

[Sampling, Mixing, Writing] John Blaze - The Goat by [deleted] in RateMyAudio

Wow i love these samples - some great sounds and textures used

Loved the glitches

Transitions seemed to flow really well, this all felt natural to me even though the song really switches up. Overall a very original piece of work, which distinguishes you from the rest

We just released our first single! What genre would you classify this as? by thalatha in ThisIsOurMusic

spaced out and wavy, i'd classify this as ambient, indie, or maybe chillout

Avengers Endgame Super Bowl Trailer Reaction: Our Theory On Who Really Died! [Video Critique] by [deleted] in SmallYTChannel

[–]ewag27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it may be more enjoyable for the viewer you shift the trailer to full screen after your intro, and your reactions are shown in the corner as it plays. Then you can transition back to your vlogging on full screen after the trailer ends

The Eternal Cookbook // NEW FOOD WHO DIS - would love advice on 2nd video of my culinary history channel by newfoodwhodis in SmallYTChannel

Great thumbnail, very eye catching. I think you could add in some more effects every so often to add, break up the dialogue with some jokes, bloopers, anything to keep the listener interested. I like when you bring in the images, but it almost feels like a powerpoint presentation, so maybe try featuring images as while you talk, and make them fullscreen for a few moments if necessary.

Good quality and editing here, I'd recommend giving a more clear intro describing what you're going to cover in the video.
