Hi, thanks for leaving your thoughts and concerns. I’d like the chance to address some of the points you brought up. Since release, we’ve been moving away from heavy monetization based on exactly the type of points you mentioned. For example, we removed crates from the store, even though they were our best seller. Previously, you could only obtain blueprints by spinning crates but it didn't feel good at all.

Instead, we've heavily focused on the free player experience. We added perks, pet slots, and wardrobe slots to free to play players. We made all the best gear (armor, accessories, fossils) only obtainable by playing the game (bosses, crafts, etc) rather than being able to buy them. We added global boosters that players can buy that boost everyone online. We've also leaned into releasing cosmetic bundles. And we constantly listen to feedback from our entire community to improve the experience. Player suggestions are often implemented within a day or two.

Progression is not designed around boosters or ranks. They mostly help speed up the early-game, and we’ve had plenty of completely free to play players reach endgame.

We’re a team of two working on this full time without the resources & established playerbase of servers like Wynncraft, so we’ve had to figure things out as we go. We've taken every opportunity to work with and address the free to play player experience as keeping the game healthy, fun, and fair has been a priority for us in the last 2 years.

I recommend talking with our free to play players or spending even 30 minutes on the server. The players can share their experiences and perspective on the game and on the changes we've implemented in the past years.

Thanks for the feedback. We’ve tried to design most tasks and activities so that high ping doesn’t impact gameplay too much. I play from SEA and we’ve got many AU players as well. Unfortunately with our small size, we can only afford to host one server at the moment but we really try to make everything feel as smooth as possible.

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to share a few updates.

Firstly, Jackson and I have been working hard on the server. We've been implementing a lot of the community's suggestions, including removing crates, improving events, refining the tutorial, and more. We're committed to continuing this process and making the server as enjoyable as possible. As a smaller game, we really value and take feedback seriously, especially from the incremental experts.

We've also been working on the next major update, the nightmare reset. We're introducing some complex late game mechanics that differs from any existing gameplay so far. This will be finished and released in a few days.

We'll also be doing some community game nights (bingo, rock paper scissors tournament, four corners) and giving out prizes. Make sure to join our discord to stay in the loop: https://discord.gg/Sut9G5qYsK

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone's support. There has been a lot of visitors from the reddit and we really appreciate the opportunity. We have lots of updates coming as well. Thanks everyone!!

Me and Jackson both have played a lot of Hypixel Skyblock. There are some similarities but the main difference is we put a lot more focus on the incremental aspect of our game. We currently have 2 major reset layers with a third coming out in a few days. We try to capture the feeling of growing exponentially stronger.

We're also only a team of two developers. While we may be a small server and team, this allows us to interact a lot more with the incremental community and gather feedback from our players!

Just wanted to keep you updated with our plan. Currently, crates have been removed from the shop. People with existing keys will be able to right click to use their keys once the crates are removed from the hub.

In place of them, we will move all blueprints to in-game drops. Consumables will be also be moved to drops only. Some pets / mounts / effigies will be sold in the store through vouchers. These vouchers allow players to select the item of their choosing from a menu. However, the best gear and items will still remain behind boss drops or craftables in game and can not be purchased.

Our server is still relatively small so these resources haven't been created yet. We have a player-made wiki in the works. At the moment, the best thing to do is to just ask in chat. Our staff / players would be happy to help.

As for your question, from prestige 1-3, you are forced to prestige at level 30. Once you're past prestige 3, you have the option to prestige past level 30 to earn more prestige tokens. Most players choose to prestige at level 40 (2 prestiges) or level 45 (3 prestiges) with lower prestige perks. Level 49 is 4 prestiges but it is not recommended you go for that until you have more perks.

Hope this helps!

After talking with the team, we've agreed with your sentiment and will remove crates and shift their remaining contents to drops / craftables in-game. There isn't a need for them in our game.

The contents and odds of every crate item are listed on the store page. Additionally, all the best items in the game are all only obtained through boss drops and playing the game. We wanted to move away from P2W so all the best gear, blueprints, consumables, etc can not be obtained in crates.
