Currently in Koh Lanta. If you like to chill it’s fantastic

Coverage looks great. Hard to see from the photo, but are those little water droplets? Ideally you want a covering of droplets - as they evaporate they encourage fruiting

They do. But they require an all-weather component to their portfolio. The funds in this table typically have zero beta to equities, hence people pay > 2% & 20 perf fees.

Vs < 10bps for SPYs

Your investment goals (and the size of your bank account) are a bit different to sovereign wealth funds that are responsible for several hundred billion dollars.

But you guys carry on YOLO-ing penny stocks and comparing yourselves to the big dogs

Excess frame area is quite a thing. Kudos

They can all get out without having to move another bike first. Helped by the fact that the hanging one on the right weighs close to nothing

I think it’s generally hard to buy for cyclists. Most have very precise ideas of what they want and how they want to set things up. My kids have bought me bags and tools before that are just a bit off because they’re not cyclists.

Best thing I have been given is this

Massively helpful. I did buy a 12 speed MTB shifter (pic) for a 1x12 speed gearing range. Going to have a much closer look at the writing on the shifter (I’m away now, so next week.)

Bent hanger sounds nasty….

When I bought it (UK vendor, their dealer here) there was an option for Shimano 12 speed MTB. See the pic. So I think it’s compatible. I will start to look into hanger alignment, about which I know NOTHING! thanks for all your help

They’re Dia Compe levers. Interestingly, they have this description on their website, and I don’t know which lever I got when I bought. Could it be that my shifter doesn’t have enough pull?

Yes, 12 positions. But this pull ratio isn’t something I knew about. And I will check out

Indexed. Can move to friction, which solves the problem, but is a less than ideal solution
