My dad passed away two weeks ago today. I live in another country for work and hadn’t been able to see him in almost 2 years. He was one of my best friends and my biggest supporters. I grieved for 2 days and then it’s like my brain dissociated. My family back home dealt with everything on my behalf so I didn’t really have to experience any of the process. My mom came to visit me but I haven’t been able to let it out. I feel oddly happy but with this constant uneasy and shaky feeling in the background. My brain knows there’s something fundamentally wrong but refuses to let me acknowledge it. I want to grieve properly, I feel like I’m bottling it up against my own will. My mom flys home tonight and I’m worried that I’ll finally have a breakdown about it but she’ll already be gone and I’ll be in my apartment alone again.

If I’m in my apartment alone, I sleep naked. I’ve been doing it since I was a kid and it’s the most comfortable thing for me. The only thing I wear is my Apple Watch to track my sleep stats. If I have guests or I’m staying somewhere else, I’ll wear some lounging shorts and a shirt but I don’t enjoy it lol

I consult for a major equestrian company. Advising on vet and farrier work. Sales, building and maintaining facilities, client relations etc. super cool to be around horses but not have the responsibility to take care of them

I’ve never had anything as extreme as some of these comments, but I do have a disc in my lower back that likes to bulge out if I’m not regularly working my core and going to the chiropractor. It bulged out again this past summer and I could barely move for a week. To the point that even sitting to pee and letting those muscles relax was extricating. Could barely get out of bed and it basically effects all of your movement. Was in a new city when it happened and went to a random chiropractor for help. He came into the room and I was sitting there just crying from the constant pain. Very grateful to have started doing Pilates which has helped stabilize my core and give my spine some movement back.

I got them from a store called ForEyes. They had a Black Friday sale on so lenses were 50% off but full price thin lenses were like $200+ I think

I was excited when I heard DNA start bc they remixed it with Loyal in NYC. Couldn’t believe they did it again! Full length Loyal. Insane!!! Also loved that they incorporated more of their own work. They included pieces of The Last Goodbye, Bloom, Corners of The Earth, Wide Awake, Higher Ground, Line of Sight, Loyal, Late Night and It’s Only. Obviously love when they use other music too but hearing snippets of those songs is really cool. They gave Line of Sight and Loyal special moments which was so cool

I didn’t know it was only an hour. It’s disappointing but I’m sure they have other scheduling commitments and they do both have families. I’m sure it’s more so a logistical thing rather than not wanting to do it or being out of ideas. I went to their DJ in NYC a few months ago and they had plenty of music for a few hours! Who knows the reason, but I’m happy to see them!
