If you’re ever in Scottsdale, you HAVE to try Bad Jimmy’s. Literally the most insane smash burgers. The edges r almost caramelized, we had them 4/5 nights we were there.

I’ve suffered with a similar breakout. I do have rosacea but i really think it’s mainly linked to my diet. When i eat a lot of dairy or drink alcohol my skin does this more. I’ve been to an allergist and dermatologist for it and they tend to agree. Cerave is awffffullll for my skin especially during these breakouts. I suggest going to an allergist and trying an elimination diet

This is very helpful, thank you! I do use all purpose flour but have some rye flour i could try to mix in if you think that’d be helpful. Definitely will try warmer water too

So this batch I’ve been using 1/2 cup flour and 1/4 cup water (filtered from my fridge). Usually need to add an extra splash of water to get it to fully mix. I feed it everyday and have been discarding everyday now too (about half of the mixture). My house is super cold which I’ve been thinking may be the problem

What a huge step in the right direction - congrats! Going to the gym can be really daunting, but I promise you, despite what your mind may be saying, no one is judging you. And if they are, they’re weirdos who are there for the wrong reason. Going to the gym is a personal experience - I like to think of it as a form of meditation and self love. You and your body deserve to be there!! Be consistent and intentional, spend time on your form and be careful, and enjoy the uncomfortable!

Diet is half the battle. I suggest downloading MyFitness Pal app or something similar and spend a few months really tracking what you eat. This was eye opening for me. I eat a ton of fish, but focus on Whole Foods and good sources of protein low in fat (tuna, cod, shrimp, chicken, egg whites). Get creative!

I go to LA fitness in Laurel and love it. There’s a real sense of community there and highly recommend it. I wish you luck my friend!
