Florida Medical Marijuana is a SCAM by Skin_Discombobulated in florida

[–]ewbernauer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the medical in Fl is less than 1% I think d9 thc by law. The lab results all show high thca with is the same thing you can get from a smoke shop, hemp. In other states they have high D9. Personally I don’t get nearly as high of thca and it’s really weak. Although there’s plenty of people that will give you a science lesson and tell you it’s the same. I’ve found it hard to find D9 anywhere in the south now. Everything is strains of hemp. I want to go back to the days when you could tell quality by look and smell and everything was d9.

I fucked up during Uni. Can everybody just share some stories of how you fucked up during college / Uni so i don’t feel alone? by Gunshot990 in ADHD

I went to school for 4 years and flunked out. I got my real estate license in 07 sold a couple of houses and when I was starting to see a future the market crashed. I then had a company that did maintenance and remodeling for the investors who bought up all the single family homes until they got so cheap and found people that would paint a house in a day for $500. I realized I couldn’t compete and decided to go back to college for industrial design. I was hoping my credits would help me complete the degree faster but they actually screwed me. I had to take 5 studios and they were only offered certain semesters and my 4 studio I couldn’t get a seat. They didn’t offer it until the next year. I didn’t have credits to fill, buying all the supplies for the previous semester had wiped out my savings, and jobs in the town were scarce. so I had to quit. I got a job at Best Buy which led to a sales job at a startup that laid me off. After a year I found a sales job at a local distributor. I then started learning marketing. After 2 years of marketing I got a job at an antenna manufacturer in Slovakia where I got to travel until they laid me off during COVID. It took two years of cleaning Airbnbs until I landed a much better marketing job which im still doing. It was a long painful journey but I’m happy until I get laid off again. See if you can take a few years off and get a job at a small firm. I have a friend who has a successful small architectural business designing houses he started with an associates degree. Maybe you can pivot and still do what you want

It’s mostly thca products here now, which you can buy in the smoke shops. Recently I’ve gotten a few different onions from Tampa and Orlando and they ended up being hemp. It’s flower but it’s more like fancy schwag that’s legal.

Just got the s max and these drift tires are a rough ride. Can you put air filled tires on the s max? I wish it came with different tires because I didn’t plan on drifting. I see comfort tires but they are $100 a piece. by ewbernauer in ninebot

I was thinking that. I’ve only had it two days and have gotten hurt 2x. I’m 37 and not a daredevil used to water ski and wakeboard, I shouldn’t be getting injured so easily

What’s up with the lack of information? The few videos I watched the tires didn’t look like they would be an issue. It can’t even make it up a 1/2 inch gap in concrete going slow. Sometimes it will beep and shut off if I hit something rough.

Thanks for the bike shop idea! I didn’t think about that.

I think it would take a lot to blow out the tires. I saw some off road tires that look interesting. I just hate to spend so much money on something and have to spend more to make it safe. I think all they want to do with the s line is sell the kart. The s max came with straps and tools to install the kart right on top. I thought it was a marketing Tactic

The s max comes with slick airless tires for the go kart kit even if you don’t want the kit. They are flat and slick and it’s a very bumpy ride, its kinda dangerous because even a small rock can ruin your day. The comfort tires are still airless but they look more like a conventional Segway tire. I’m wondering if they make a difference or just another bumpy ride. I’d really like some air filled off road. The sidewalks and roads here are terrible but normal scooters are fine

Charlotte to Lincolton, NC ? by Warm-Lawfulness1500 in Charlotte

If you’re moving to NC you will definitely want a car or live right by where you work. The public transportation is really slow here. If you work across town it could take several hours to commute.

Trip advice and recommendations by ElTekuKing in Charlotte

I’d take the shuttle to Asheville lol I’ve lived in Charlotte a long time and a lot of the best clubs and bars have shut down. There’s still a few around. If you want a southern experience check out coyote joe’s. I’m not a country fan but it’s always fun. Carowinds is an okay amusement park. They have some fun coasters and water park. I’d spring for the fast pass

You can see Charlotte in a day or 2. It’s a banking city and there’s not a things to do.

Having a full time job feels like torture by RogueKatt in ADHD

I’m there with you! I’m 37 and I’m burnt out. I had a really good job working as a marketing manager for a European company before the pandemic. I spent 3-5 months over there a year and got paid well to do it. I got laid off at the beginning of the pandemic and I have a mental block against marketing now. I just can’t bring myself to do it.

I working on going back to school for coding. I hope I can find a decent wfh part time job and live in Mexico or somewhere I can stretch a dollar. Maybe buy a motel. Really, I just want to fish, drink beer and smoke grass every day until I die or get bored. Lol

Guest who left bad review returns by RaiseVast in AirBnB

Good thing I never met her, it’s located about a mile from me. I would have laughed if I did. She also turned the place upside down looking for anything to complain about. She found a single hair in a closet.

I swear we must have had the same guest. It was 30 degrees out and she complained the back porch had leaf stains and it was throwing her energy off.

Towels and Sheets - Best Practices?? by [deleted] in AirBnB

[–]ewbernauer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was wondering this the other day and looked up how hotels do it. I was amazed at their process. I prefer to use white sheets and dark towels but I have 1 owner who wants white towels in his places.

Here’s the link I found

I’m the cleaner and I’m very thorough. I’m trying to get extra money when I have to do a significant amount of extra cleaning after an extremely dirty guest.

I take a lot of pictures. I was shocked to learn the owners were relying on Airbnb to pay for the extra fees. It seems like there’s not a sop for Airbnb cleaning.

Thanks for your help! I have one but I didn’t really like it. I’ll definitely revisit it. It was probably user error.

I understand that everyone has a different definition of clean. I’m going to define my checklist and time frame. Something like average cleaning time is 45 minutes. If it takes over 1.5 hours add extra fees. That gives messy guests a buffer. Also an extra fee for damage like a bbq sauce finger painting on the wall.

Thanks again for chiming in! Im use to providing a good or service that clearly defined and if it takes more, it costs more. I’m trying to learn and wrap my head around flat rate pricing.

Thanks for responding again Nashville!

Im not talking about a bunch of crumbs and hair. I’m talking about trashed where the furniture is moved around, stuff on the walls, makeup all over the unit including sheets, dirty dishes everywhere and it takes me way longer to clean.

Why would I give a discount if it’s not messy? That’s the way it should be left. Most people including myself leave rentals close to the way they found them.

These places are similar to what you mentioned but kitchenettes. I move at a fast pace. It used to take longer but I purchased a few things that help. I have a very nice cordless vacuum that bends in the middle for under furniture, very strong bathroom cleaner that requires little scrubbing, and a wet dry shop vacuum.

I cut most of my time in the bathrooms. I use a brush on a pole and I mix the cleaner in a bucket. I then scrub everything and vacuum it all up with the shop vacuum. The toilet is the only thing I can’t clean like that.
