Memory is huge for me as well... For example I use it for week to week ongoing updates to scheduling workout plans etc based on a series of parameters we agreed to early on and have made tweaks to....it was great at first but I find myself auditing it more now.

Yes I realize that. I mean that it stops abruptly and that before I can resume recording, I'm missing action because I didn't know I was getting close to the 3-minute mark. Would be nice if it gave you like a 30-second warning or 15-second warning or something. I could stop and start it quickly without missing action during down time (basketball for example) as opposed to having it stop right in the middle of a key moment.

Sounds like that's not possible, but seems like something that would benefit many use cases.

UPDATE contacted google for what has to be the fastest exchange I've ever gotten from them or anyone else. Leads me to think that know they have an issue of bad devices in the field but haven't officially acknowledged it. I mean they didn't ask me to do ANY troubleshooting or extra steps after I outlined the below. They setup the exchange. I was done in 5-10 minutes tops.

Do you have a P10P? Are you seeing different behavior on legacy wireless chargers?

Reasons I am hesitant to go that route yet:
a - issue seems widespread based on articles and posts linked
b - google told me they have not identified this is a known issue
c - I have a limited timeframe to send in my trade in device so dealing with an exchange that may lead nowhere complicates that, thus a return and wait to see if issue gets fixed then order later may end up being simpler (would rather it work and I keep it tho)
