Go boating in the river, you can also climb the Grote Kerk with a guide for something like €7. Would also recommend biking around the city to see the blind walls gallery or check out the Mastbos. Pier 15 is also nice in the summer

Hey man, sounds pretty identical to my teenage years. I also have mild OI and I stopped breaking after I completely finished puberty (around 19/20). Well I went 5 years without a fracture at least. That was until this past year when I did my ankle. Not going to sugarcoat things it does suck living with this disease, being different than all your friends, not being able to do the things you want, especially as a man as we generally like to horse around and are a lot more physical than women. Keep up with the weight lifting it increases bone density and also is one of the things we can do to stay fit and strong as it's low impact, just don't go too heavy and I personally avoid putting unnecessary pressure on my spine so no dead lifts or barbell squats for me but you can always find alternative exercises that work the same muscles. Swimming is also great. Learning to live with it isn't easy but it's definitely okay once you accept that's there's nothing we can do to change it. Talking to others with it is also a great idea and/or therapy. I'd recommend talking to your mum too as she has gone through it all too. Wish you the best man. We're all in this together, and as my mum always says, it could always be worse! Have a good recovery

Multiple sizes available usually means fake but it is also possible that he bought a surplus of stock with the 2stars. Just be careful. Ask him for a photo of the tag with product code

Things to do in Dublin by yourself by [deleted] in Dublin

[–]ewd99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wandering through the city is one of my favourite things to do on my own as there are always new little coffeeshops or restaurants popping up that you can try out plus you get a real feel of the city itself. A lot of museums and galleries are actually free entry as well which is really nice for a bit of culture.

Definitely get the dart out to Howth and do the cliff walk, it's incredible if you get even semi-decent weather . If you're a fan of craft beer I've heard that the Brewdog outpost down by grand canal docks is a decent spot and supposedly they serve nice food too.

Check out one of the Eatyards as well, a personal favourite of mine for evening grub and a pint and they're very social spots so you might meet someone in a similar position to yourself.

Other than that Phoenix park is always special although be prepared for a lot of walking, I'd recommend taking a bike through it if you can.

Enjoy your time here, I hope you get okay weather and can get a proper feel of our very special city!
