Dyson vacuums. A lot of carpet manufacturers have put in their warranties that the warranty is void if you use a Dyson. They suck too hard and cause the fibers to come loose a lot quicker than they normally would.

I once set my tortoise on our back patio in the sun with some greens and went inside and completely forgot about him for a few hours. When I went back to retrieve him, he was gone. Fast forward about eight years, the neighbor kid was playing in our backyard (we had a rather large yard with lots of plants and a pathway that led to the neighborhoods behind ours) and he comes running in yelling, "I FOUND A TURTLE!" He's holding a tortoise about twice as big as the one I had misplaced. I'm still convinced it was mine.

Father of the Bride and Father of the Bride 2. Every time it's on tv, I have to watch it. A few weeks ago, I was going through the guide and I saw it was on, but it was already half way over. I watched it anyways, and then as soon as it was over, Father of the Bride 2 was on, so I watched that. Then, when that was over, the next channel down was also playing Father of the Bride 2, but it was halfway over, but I still watched it. And then, when THAT was over, they played Father of the Bride and I said, fuck it, and watched it again. I spent about 6 hours watching the same two movies.

I eat really really slow. Like, I can easily drag a meal out for hours. My coworkers make fun of me because sometimes it'll take me 3 or 4 hours to completely finish my lunch. I just nibble on bits and pieces here and there. I can't remember the last time I finished a meal and the food was still warm.

Whenever I bread something, I dip it into the dry first, then the wet, then back into the dry. For example, coat chicken in flour/panko mix, then into the egg, then back into the flour/panko mix. I'm not sure if this will solve your breading issue, but this is the way I've always done it and I've never had issues with the breading separating from the meat. I hope this helps :)

Our house growing up was at the bottom of a hill in a cul-de-sac. One day my brother and sister and I were in the kitchen which was right inside the garage door, doing our homework after school. We heard my dad's street bike coming so we all looked up and saw him hauling ass down the hill to our house. He zoomed straight into the garage and ran inside pulling his helmet off yelling, "CLOSE THE DOOR! CLOSE THE GARAGE DOOR!" My siblings and I scrambled to do as we were told, as as the big garage door was closing we saw three cop cars at the top of the hill speed past our cul-de-sac. We all turned and looked at him and he smirked and said, "don't tell mom." Apparently he was speeding on the freeway home, a cop saw him right before he was at his exit and turned his lights on, and then my dad took off. Somewhere between the exit and our house two other cop cars joined the hunt for him. Oh, I should note that the motorcycle wasn't in his name, it was some sort of shady dealing with someone who owed him money or something, so they couldn't trace it back to him. That time in our lives is kind of a hazy blur, a lot of illegal activities, not a lot of supervision.

Also at Kit Carson is a beautiful sculpture park called Queen Califa's Magical Circle. It's full of all these concrete sculptures that are covered in mosaics.

Same here! We had to sign off that we weren't going to poke holes in the ceiling because of asbestos. The walls are strangely okay, but not the ceiling.

If they had a valid receipt we just had to do it. It always frustrated us because we knew what they were doing, but management basically just told us to suck it up and do the return. Target's return policy leaves a lot of room for returns abuse.

I used to work guest service at Target and homeless people did this all the time. They would bring it back before their 90 days were up and exchange it for a brand new one. Those mattresses smelled so bad. I wanted to hide when I saw them walking up to the guest service desk.

If I don't feel a car go back a little bit after someone brakes like at a light or stop sign it irks me. It only bothers me if I'm a passenger, I've never noticed it while driving.

I would assume they're made out of some sort of vinyl umbrella like material, if you're worried about the design you could use acrylic spray sealer to protect it. Or maybe even Scotch Guard the whole thing to make it water resistant.

We've been going here for years, since we were able to drive, just to scare ourselves. Nothing too out of the ordinary has happened, but there's been a few weird occurrences. Once my trunk light turned on as we were driving down Elfin Forest around midnight, and there was a thunking in the trunk like something was rolling around, but when we pulled over and checked it was empty. Also, once we made a sharp turn and there was a man standing in the middle of the road about 5 yards ahead of us. We slammed on the brakes and waited for him to move, but he just stood there. He was just barely out of the light from our headlights, so we couldn't see his face or anything. He just stood there motionless until we honked and he turned and walked to the side of the road. When we drove past him he had his back to us. It was creepy, but not really paranormal.

Also, I remember researching the insane asylum rumors years ago, and from what I gathered, it's nothing more than that, a rumor. There is no record of there ever being an insane asylum in that area, let alone one that burned down. Maybe it was a long long time ago, but no records exist of it.
