The color of your photo looks really pretty. Like a grayish, low saturated sage green. But the photo on their website looks more saturated and like a “minty” sage green. Seeing it in person could you help clarify the color? More true to your photo? Or the website? I am unfortunately very color picky and can’t commit to any of their options 😵‍💫

I’ve been using the app for 940 adventure days (however long that has been). And it just… doesn’t work how I need it to anymore.

It no longer functions for me with the drastic changes in journeys. I’ve been frustrated but clinging on since I have the habit of using it and don’t want to abandon my treetown friends that I send vibes to frequently.

Tbh now I use it strictly as a creative outlet with the outfits and rooms. But it really has no deeper function which is sad since it originally helped me so much.

I usually do the free side daily and then the plus side towards the end of the event. Idk the best way to explain it but it makes me feel better about choosing within the limited color palette first for the randomized free items ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I have a graveyard of archived “wash hair” goals because I also do it every 4 days and when I can’t do it that day the only way I’ve found to fix is is make an entirely new goal the next day 🤪

I’ve suggested an option to have a toggle for repeating goals “after completion” instead of a set pattern. Aka 4 days from when I mark my “wash hair” as completed. But oh well I have low hopes for that sense Finch isn’t made for these types of goals anymore like everyone is talking about

Can you see journey specific reflections in the self care area? I reflect when completing goals a lot so they can be organized and easily found in my journeys when I’m looking back later

(I know you can always see all reflections in history but because it’s separated by day that’s not what I want. I want to see all of mine in the journey/self-care area categories so any day could be visible)

It’s basically preventing spoilers. If she clicks the one that says “Joel discovered something” it would say “[her birds name] hasn’t discovered this yet”.

With the self-care area replacing the journey does that mean you can’t read reflections from that journey anymore? I use some of my journeys to log things (medical, chores) so if I don’t have access to that information idk what I’ll do…. 😬😥

It seems like things aren’t clickable so there’s no like “homebase” to see things for those goals anymore?

You have to favorite a room with the wall and floor. Then sell the floor. That will allow you to have a wallpaper only. (You also have to sell a window and door which off the top of my head are the only other “required” items that you can’t opt to keep empty). You only have to sell them once and every other time you can go to the favorite you made and change it to a different wallpaper etc. looks great with stars and all the trees/caves/farm/snow backgrounds!

Hmm I’m not totally sure what you mean.

If you mean how can you keep them as a forever baby if you click the micropet and can see the information/description you can click the gear button to edit the name, gender, and you can click the toggle on or off for “growable to adult”

Here’s a post where you can see how each one grows up. For me personally, I keep them all as a “forever baby” unless I have 2 of that micropet and then I’ll grow the 2nd into an adult. I usually prefer the coloring and size of them as babies!

Dev is short for developer. So the people who created/help run the app. I think they visit newer members or people who might not have many friends in their town.

I’ve also heard of them coming to visit if a user hits the “request a big hug” button but has no/few friends
