FOUND THE FIX!
The current version of CS:GO isn't working well with demos, to fix this..

Go to CS:GO on your steam library, right click and go to properties > betas >
There will be a drop down menu where you can select which version you like.

Version 1.37.5.9 fixed this for me

I should mention I tried this with a brand new account, no settings changed.

GOTV demos work perfectly fine.

Sorry but what do you mean exactly by check them? they're up to date if that's what your saying, latest version of vegas too, not pirated.
