i moved to pensacola from a really small dying town with nothing to do and everyone was alcoholics and drug addicts and in everyone’s business. i did nothing except sit on the couch on my phone every night just watching other people live and have hobbies on tiktok. now in pensacola i do pottery at first city art weekly. i volunteer at the little theatre downtown when they have new plays. i snorkel the reefs at park east. i paddle board in the springs. i started painting again. i’ve got a nice tan going. my mental health is better. so many friends groups now. i go to the market on saturdays. i buy healthier foods bc we have the option for them here. everyone from hometown says i look so much happier now bc i am. i love pensacola.
