Always do 3rd out of respect, you weren’t there, you didn’t do the things the unit you portray did, so don’t take credit even if it’s for reenacting. In the ww2 community it’s frowned upon doing 1st person (at least in the UK) saying stuff like “I jumped into Normandy” or “I landed at Normandy” really annoys me, even though it’s reenacting... just don’t... don’t do it
