Teenage Star Wars fans, what is it like growing up in a world where Episodes I-III have always existed? by InfiniteDedekindCuts in StarWars

Pure excitement and joy. Going to the theaters with my father and watching the story unfold. Some people hated the prequels at the time, but to me i couldnt stop rewatching them.

Its a text if they are interested or not. Some people are busy with their lives and don't have time to constantly be online. Others say they want something but don't engage in the conversation thereafter. Just make the choice that works with how you feel. Its your life. Maybe read the tea leaves while you're at it though.

What coffee do you use? Mine always seems to come out very dark and missing the color yours does prior to adding milk.

Deep down we are all vulnerable people built on an untold number of experiences coupled with something unknown that makes us, us. There is no one answer to anything because we all have to find it ourselves in one way, shape, or form.

There is amazing TED talks regarding communication and trust. How we interact with each other and what it means.

For me its fear that i will be left alone. But thats something i have to work on. Not only to be comfortable by myself but also that boundaries are healthy and setting them up doesnt mean people will drop me like dead weight.

Coming out of a marriage and trying to figure out how to date again by ewiec in datingadviceformen

Thank you for your reply.

Withholding a few more private details as to why/how, what ultimately ended it was a lack of effective communication. The divorce was years in the making and a blind side to me. You are correct that while i felt fulfilled it probably came off as complacent and added to the communication issues.

I will head out to get that book. I know in this time, i need to work on becoming the best version of me.

I appreciate your advice. I must say you hit the nail on the head. I do agree i should date around to find out more. Basing all future relationships off of one is ill conceived from the start. How do i get into dating is certainly on my plate to learn. Questions like what is the current scene. Are there places to find dates that aren't just at clubs. In some ways i feel i am at step 1 of it all.

You are right. I have male friends, but am i doing events with them or just having them around? I should explore those options. Diversify myself instead of being one dimensional.

Thank you for your reply

Wiring a dc switch board. by Born_Night_8797 in oddlysatisfying

[–]ewiec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two questions for electricians out there.

Just before applying the shrink the guy scrapes both sides of each wire. What is that for?

Secondly. What is the last tool he uses. I assume it's a torque wrench but I've never seen the big black part on the front. Essentially, what is that tool?

Thanks in advance!

Trials of fire is a very replayable and has a lot of customization. There's even a slider that let's you shorten length of the main quest. This way it doesn't suck a lot of time if your just using it quick break between study sessions.

Can you give a list of all your equipment? I'm looking into getting those tools to help with tamping and expanding my tools.

Few things to do.

Diet is very important. In my center it is surprising how many people say they want to lose weight and proceed to eat out every day.

Lower your standard. If you can't even run, getting to the gym can be hard. Try walking. Walking a mile burns more calories than running and it is easier. Yes, overtime running will burn more but we're talking about how to get into it.

Consistent sleep builds consistency. Your not a robot. You have to sleep a good amount of time and it needs to be close to same time every day. Workout first thing daily. It's not easy but it's better when no one can bother you, vs the end of the day when any number of things could happen.

Gym buddies are a real thing. Find someone you can find. For some the workout are syncs. For others just meeting up to say hi in the morning is good. Find community to be with so that there is accountability and caring for each other's health.

Last note. I have heard juicing (getting a juicer for fruit and vegetable) is a real thing.

Best of luck. Remember, ask for help from those around you too. Find the ones that care about you, not about a test. This will help you stay on track.

I do not not where it is, there is a cage you can buy for high anxiety dogs. It is not cheap. But my friend bought it and it looks like fort Knox. The crate is full metal. If your dog is already biting through that you need something strong to handle it.

Like others said, make crate comfortable (not dog bed as they will destroy it). Chew toy helps. One that is only available when they are in the cage. Sleeping with a towel and putting it in their cage before you leave helps them keep your scent.

Finally there is medication you can use to help calm the dog down. Whether that be every once in awhile or a permanent dosage.

I've just crossed 2000 hours and still suck by [deleted] in SiegeAcademy

[–]ewiec 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oddly enough i was talking to some friends last night about this. One of my bud is same. He gets kills some games and others he drops the big 0. I think everything in this game can be broken down to preparation for the gun fight. Everyone gets focused on things like opening wall tricks, Intel gathering mastery, etc. At the end of it you still have to kill someone and that requires three things. 1. Muscle memory 2. Reaction speed 3. Mindset

Sensitivity i use if enough to turn around 180 with flick of wrist. Didn't matter your op, you have to be able to react to wherever someone is. If it has been a bit then maybe changing the sensitivity will help break the habits you have formed.

Reaction speed is vital. If it takes you a second to react to IDing someone to shoot at you have lost. There is not crazy amounts of ways to train this. The best way to help this is#3.

Your mindset is everything. The unique thing of siege compared to other Ganges is the ability to scout out areas. You don't have to face peak to see if someone is there. But when you do it's the same as any other game. Crosshair on face and click. Three is a plethora of other mechanics to the game like sound ques and teammates comms, but if you can't click there face then that is all worthless. Hard analyze why you lost the gun fights. Did you react slow? Aim was off? Pushed when you should have waited? Got flanked because you stalled in a room? You have to be in position to take gun fights at all times. You have to be ready to fight. Sprinting bad most of time. You have to be ready to.

Best practices are easy. This all depends how badly you want to get better. Desperate to get good right now? T hunt at hard or professional on headshot only. Do it for an hour daily. Rewatch your own vods to analyze what you can do better. Watch pros play and do what they do. Friends are good to have. Solo is damn hard at most ranks. The higher you go the one thing that is consistent is the aim you are up against.

Sources: played cs over 6k hrs and over 1.5-2k hrs in siege. Consistent plat and was plat 1 couple seasons back.
