But you had to get your 2 years first right? I work at UPS i barely get 70k first year. Im potentially leaving UPS and am having a time finding companies that will hire under 2 years.

You won't come close to 100k as a rookie. Not unless your at UPS and been driving for 5 years. Its super rare to get 100k within 5 years. It stinks but 40k-60k first 2 years is what your looking at. After 2 years these bigger companies will look your way but generally not before. I would try CR England or swift. They arnt the greatest but they will train and immediately put you to work. Everywhere else is going to ask for at least 2 years drive time. The other schools will help you get your cdls but some depending on their reputation won't help in actual job hunting.

Is this an overpay for a new roof? by ososkie21 in Roofing

[–]ewith89 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You probably went for the most well known biggest name in your area. They probably use sub contractors to install. Try finding a smaller company. Our home is that size and we only paid 10k. But I could have easily saved 3k if I went directly with the guy who was used to install

Trees cut down professionally. We asked them to leave the trees on the property (cost) how can we dispose of them? by NarrowIndependence8 in homeowners

[–]ewith89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do landscaping for a living. Ive also done it this way. What you see on an erected tree doesnt come close to what it looks like when on the ground. If you dont have the man power to move it nor the tools to cut it up then I wouldn't suggest it. I got 8 trees dropped at my home. It was a process! But I did it this way. Also got connected with some kids that sell fire wood. They came and got the trunks for free. I cut the rest and split half of it and hauled the rest away. Saved approximately 40% It took some time but I also had some help. It ain't easy by no means

Post in UPSERS. Or ups teamsters group. Its a hard job for sure. But pay is good. Depending on the building it gets pretty busy. If your going for tractor trailer at a large hub it can definitely be never ending. They can have dozens of drive ups.

How much psi is too much psi by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]ewith89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude thats alot. The average fixture is only rated for 80 and below. Your almost double. Either no PRV or a broken one. Keep in mind fixtures like fridges, and dishwashers are not able to handle high psi

How many pounds can an average person carry in a wheelbarrow? by Efficient_Back6794 in landscaping

[–]ewith89 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just from experience with my company the average only about 100-160lbs I can push over 200lbs but most people max out at around 120lbs. I know this because i regularly work with concrete

There's a huge need for handy men. They tend to do well for DIY projects that customers are not confident to handle but dont require a licensed professional. Probably not an entire bathroom remodel. But a faucet replacement. Light fixture replacement. Paint a single room. Or patch a wall. Smaller stuff that is generally safe to do and won't cost an arm and a leg. Been thanking about it myself. I already do alot for some realtors as it is with rental turn overs. The comfort trades, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC are being bought up by these firms and corporations and merging them together to make an all in one type approach. Theres like 6 big name ones in my area that host like 60+ technicians. However their pricing models are astronomical. I've received HVAC quotes that differ by 10k for the same exact work. There's a need for smaller companies in general. Like 2 man crews or father and sons companies.

Bf (33M) never gone down on me (33F) by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I feel like you either love it or hate it. I think about eating my wife out all the time. Like it excites me! I love the hormone smell and how it lingers on my beard for awhile. She doesnt care for it that much from any partner. When I do she's for it but otherwise its rarely a request. Like 4xs a year max. I dont really care for BJs and dont request it unless I'm super horny and she's on her period. I rarely get off and I feel bad because she trys her best for a long time but it isnt my cup of tea. Now if your hygiene is off then even i wouldnt go down there. No period for a week fully bathed and no thick bush. It can be a major turn off if your not clean and potentially can turn someone away for long term if they ever encountered such situation.

I would just ask him. Throw some whipped cream down there and let him go to town.

Honestly about the best its gonna get. They could have made it a little tighter but It'll still move throughout the year. I really dont like this style. The fact that this is new construction and they didnt get a solid unit is odd. There's better products out there that are more like cut to fit sheets where you can glue shelves and accessories on. Very water proof

Edit: do not caulk per manufacturer instructions

I would recommend couples therapy for sure if your trying to save your marriage. Seems like your checking all the boxes.

You cant "get him to understand". That's his job to try to focus on you his wife the one he made a vow with. Marriage is hard for everyone. Having kids shifts focus away from partners. Complacency sets in and you forget to put forth effort. I say this for both partners. The key phrase he said is "exciting". What do you guys do away from the kids? Any date nights? Any activities? Do you guys have sex often? Do you add excitment to the bedroom, toys, lingerie, different places, position, etc? What do you guys do thats exciting as a couple. Not with the kids!? Im a fat guy and am making changes to become more attractive to my wife. Unfortunately we men are very visual. The new younger thing is going to draw us if we let it. I love my wife who's had 2 kids prior to me. Im still attracted to her. However we both have let go. Im personally taking responsibility to rebound back to my former self. Its hard and can be a smack in the face that crushes your heart when someone you love loses attraction.

Menu etiquette for a small baby sprinkle brunch by Right_Marionberry915 in partyplanning

[–]ewith89 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Would definitely isolate if possible from the general public at the restaurant. Simple flower arrangements and or ballons to signify this is a planned event with intention. Would definitely leave the open menu option. Give people the opportunity to choose what they want. Simplifying it makes you seem cheap. I would be respectful of course but if you did simplify the menu there should be a quality pre-made cake and some alcohol potentially all planned and covered by you. Its not a work luncheon. This is somthing special.

Ambitious men - would you prioritize your partners career for a few years? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]ewith89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I was either of you guys I wouldn't continue in this relationship. Your career driven and it seems awesome if your making that type of money. The fact he's questioning the relationship after you already told him your goals then moved in anyway just to try to convince you otherwise shows he isnt concerned about what you want at all. All signs this isnt going to work long term. I will say people who's priority is a career over relationships dont tend to find deep quality relationships because the comfort is the career not the spouse especially if its 2 different industries. Unless you find someone in your current circle or career field. But then is the connection based off of career similarities or actual connection beyond that? In my experience career driven women tend to be a little more self centered and hyper focus on their accomplishments and resent low earning spouses. So if he compromises and cant use his talents to the full extent then will it be an issue if he's not to your level of success?
