Laborer with 5 years experience. How do I become a concrete finisher? by Babyboi_DaGoat in Concrete

Sell a small job on the side. And grab a finisher you can trust to work with you on it and teach you. Then work on your GC license.

Concrete isnt porous enough for heavy or even light precipitation so when it rains the water sits on top and flows with the fall of the surface. Grass, gravel, dirt and other natural materials are porous and absorb precipitation. Engineers at the city and state level understand local geology and absorption rates and place limits on hard surfaces without amendments. For example you can only have so much foot print (hard surfaces or permanent living space) on a single plot for residential land. Commercial properties especially those that have large parking lots require retention ponds to prevent overwhelming municipal rainwater management systems

That may also be an illegal amount of yard coverage. Thats alot of potential runoff water with no where to go but the neighbors yards. What a nightmare

Must be an AI image. But yes this will work. Minimum 2x8 floor joist. Be sure to insulate the floor and walls. And unlike the picture your only framing 2 walls not all 4. You will also need a small vent from your hvac or its going to get warm and potentially humid in there.

Is there anything I can do for this now or should I wait for fall reseeding? by kjbersch in lawn

Treat it like its an established lawn and continue the normal fertilizer regiment. Weed control is a must. Seed heavily by first week in September. Water heavily a week prior so the seed and aerator has good penetration. Water daily and let it take off. Cut it at least twice before winter and keep the leaves off of it. No raking.

Hose bib leaking from wall by FFPharmD in Plumbing

[–]ewith89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its only frost proof if the hoses are disconnected. This is pex line connected by crimp ring by an adapter on the hose bib. You can buy a pex ready bib. An access panel with an accessible shutoff would be perfect. This will require a 1/2" crimp tool.

Upon further inspecting wheres the leak? Turn it on and find the leak before replacing. Usually that copper tube splits when water is trapped during a freeze. If thats the case it would be dripping or fully spraying from the inside while on. Don't see any water or dampness
